Consultants, manufacturers andrepair shop personnel would also benefit fromthis course.SPEAKER’S PROFILEGreg Stone, Dielectrics EngineerGreg has over 30 years of experience inthe application and testing of large motorand generator windings. Prior to joining<strong>Iris</strong> in 1990, he worked at OntarioHydro for 15 years, where he specializedin testing machine windings of thecompany’s generators and motors innuclear, fossil and hydro generatingplants. He has authored or co-authoredapproximately 100 technical papers andseveral books within his field ofexpertise. Greg has been an instructorfor the American utility association’scourse on motor monitoring for manyyears, and more recently, he has addedhis expertise to hydro generatormaintenance courses. He is furthermoreactive in many IEEE and IEC workinggroups developing standards and guides.
