Belanger and Allen M. Nielsen, 2008. SDAcontributed data and research to this publication onfatty alcohols, which are widespread in the environmentand are also used in consumer products, includingdetergents and cosmetics. This book presents data ontheir environmental occurrence, fate and behavior.Consumer Product Fact Sheets2005–2008Since 1926, SDA has made it apriority to make available toconsumers, educators andpublic health professionalsmeaningful information oncleaning product safety,benefits and proper use.Updating and condensingthe information from theFact Sheet Notebooksproduced in the ‘90s, SDA’swidely used Fact Sheetsprovide useful informationon different types of cleaners in that category, commoningredients, label information, safe usage, and how todispose of the product and container safely into theenvironment.
