Department ofVeterans AffairsVHA All Employee SurveyResults from <strong>VA</strong><strong>Pittsburgh</strong> <strong>Healthcare</strong><strong>System</strong> EmployeesThe purpose of the survey was to collect informationon employees’ perceptions of the workplace and their satisfaction with <strong>VA</strong>. Employeeswere asked to answer all questions thinkingabout their experiences over the past six months.The surveys were completely anonymous. Thesurvey was divided into three primary sections:Job Satisfaction (13 questions); OrganizationalAssessment (31 questions); and Culture (14questions). An overwhelming 94% of <strong>VA</strong>PHSemployees responded!Average results were compared with averageresults from the 2004 <strong>VA</strong>PHS survey as well asthe VHA and VISN average results from thisyear’s survey. As you can see from the datashown here, <strong>VA</strong>PHS has improved over thepast two years in many categories and is abovethe national average in most categories aswell.
