The 620 (Bath to Yate) bus leaves Bath bus station at08:45 (Mondays to Fridays) and 10:45. It goes along the A46 close toHawkesbury Upton.Ask the driver to set you down at Dunkirk Crossroads. The journeytakes about an hour. From there, Hawkesbury Upton is 1.5km/about 1mile along a minor road, France Lane, on the same side of the A46 thatyou get off the bus at. The Way itself is another 1km/0.5 mile throughthe village.From Stroud(Mondays to Saturdays) From Merrywalks catch the 40 bus toWotton-under-Edge at 08:15 or 10:20. You will arrive at the WarMemorial in Wotton 40 minutes later. This gives you time to catchthe 86 bus from the same place at 09:58 and 11:58 to HawkesburyUpton. Ask the driver to set you down at the Somerset Monumentjust before the village. This is not an official stop but the driver willlet you alight as near to the Monument as he can safely do so. If going in the Chipping Campden direction,walk back from the bus until you find a waymarker. When you alight at the DogInn, the Cotswold Way runs along Chapel Lane and Cotswold Lane atthe side of the inn.28 29
