Good Morning, Teachers and StudentsDate Rotation ScheduleFriday, September 27, 2013 HR,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 Day 1 HR ScheduleMorning PrayerIn the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.Let us remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.Today is the feast day of St. Vincent DePaul who was the founder of the Vincentian Order ofpriests. St. Vincent was born to a peasant family. His home was shabby, his family uneducated, and he was ashamed. As a way of escaping this very poor situation, he entered the seminaryto become a priest. One day, as a very young priest, something inside of him changed. It washis duty to help to feed the poor in the community, as he did so, he recognized in their eyesthe eyes of Jesus Christ. He also saw the eyes of his own humble family. From that dayforward, he embraced poverty, and he worked tirelessly for the poor. He summarized his ownmission in this phrase, “I am for God and the poor.” As you think of St. Vincent DePaul, howwould you summarize your mission? How would you fill in the blanks? Who are you for? Givethose questions some thought today.God, our Father, we thank you for today. We offer you the work of this day as an act of prayer.Guide our thoughts, words and actions that we may do your will and serve you faithfully.Throughout this day, may we speak in truth, act in justice, and walk in grateful awareness ofbeing always in your holy presence. This we pray through Jesus Christ, our Lord.St. John Baptist de LaSalle… PRAY FOR US.Live Jesus in our hearts… FOREVER.THANK GOD ALMIGHTY... I AM A RAIDER.In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Please face the flag for the Pledge of Allegiance
