No Thesis/No <strong>PR</strong>REQUIREMENTS• Students must select a Minor area of study and complete at least 6 hours in that area. All Minorcourses do not have to be in a single discipline, and may be taken in virtually any department.• Students must maintain at least a “B” average throughout their tenure at UT.<strong>PR</strong>EREQUISITESAll students must complete the following courses (or equivalent) in addition to the core courses:ADV 385ADV 385MKT 320FStrategic Advertising Management (graduate)Media Management (graduate)Foundations of Marketing--- A Statistics CourseUNDERGRADUATE COURSES• No more than 6 semester hours of upper-division coursework may be included, of which no morethan 6 hours may be in either the major area or the supporting work.• No undergraduate advertising classes may be taken for graduate credit within the AdvertisingDepartment unless they are in the Texas Creative or Texas Interactive programs.• Grade points earned in undergraduate courses will count towards the Graduate GPA.http://advertising.utexas.edu
