Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economics and 

Technology (the BMWi) is lending its support to Aircraft 

Interiors Expo for the first time this year. The BMWi 

has now included the exhibition within its prestigious 

list of international trade fairs and has opened up its 

exhibition attendance scheme to innovative, young 

German companies to help them participate in the 

2011 show. 

With the help of German Trade Fair Association, 

AUMA, which represents the interests of Germany’s 

exhibition industry, the idea is to support small German 

companies looking to market innovative products for 

the cabin interior by subsidising 80 per cent of their 

cost of exhibiting. 

To be eligible the companies need to meet a 

number of criteria, as well as funding the remainder of 

the exhibiting costs themselves. This initiative offers a 

really tangible boost to German businesses that have 

been operating for less than a decade and have no 

more than 50 employees, as well as an annual 

turnover below €10 million. 

We are delighted that AUMA has recognised the 

importance of Aircraft Interiors Expo as the international 

marketplace for innovation in the cabin interior. The 

event obviously attracts both exhibitors and airline 

buyers from around the globe so the financial incentive 

that AUMA offers could make a significant difference to 

a young German company looking to access or grow

welche die Interessen der Deutschen Messeindustrie 

vertritt, will man kleine Deutsche Unternehmen 

unterstützen, die nach innovativen Produkten für das 

Kabineninterieur streben, indem man 80% ihrer 

Ausstellungskosten subventioniert. 

Um hierauf Anspruch zu haben, müssen die 

Unternehmen sowohl eine Anzahl von Kriterien erfüllen als 

auch die restlichen Kosten der Ausstellung selber 

finanzieren können. Diese Initiative bietet den deutschen 

Unternehmen einen wirklich greifbaren Aufschwung, die 

seit weniger als 10 Jahren am Markt sind, aus einer 

Belegschaft von maximal 50 Personen bestehen und 

einen Jahresumsatz von weniger als €10 Millionen haben. 

Wir freuen uns, dass die AUMA die Wichtigkeit der 

Aircraft Interiors Expo als internationaler Mark für Innovation 

im Kabineninterieur, anerkannt hat. Die Veranstaltung zieht

Press Conference 

Crystal Cabin Award 

For the fifth time, the Crystal Cabin 

Award will be presented in 

association with the Aircraft Interiors 

Expo in Hamburg. 42 companies 

from ten different countries are 

hoping for this year’s innovation prize 

for aircraft cabins. Some companies 

have submitted a number of innovative products and 

concepts. The pre-selection committee has accepted 

a total of 52 submissions. The entries will now be 

examined and evaluated by an international Judging 

Panel, made up of 18 aviation experts, so that the 21 

finalists can be nominated in March. Trophies are 

awarded in six different categories. There is also a 

judges’ commendation prize. 

A Press Conference will be held on the opening day of the show and will feature top industry specialists 

who will share their experience and give their insight on the future of the aircraft interiors industry. 

Open to press and aircraft interiors attendees, this will be a great opportunity for you to hear from the 

industry experts.

Seamless convenience 

Every year, the Lantal design team embarks on an expedition that 

culminates in its Conceptional Forecast. On behalf of the airline industry, it 

explores the key touch points of megatrends such as “eco-fun” and 

“privacy”. The findings are distilled and summarized in a trendletter that 

constitutes the roadmap for a new collection. 

In the Conceptional Forecast for 2011, the dominant themes are 

nature, webs, and honeycombs. They have been translated into hardwearing, 

biologically degradable Climatex ® LifeguardFR seat upholstery 

fabrics and weight-saving carpets with expressive textures. The 

structured designs have a refined three-dimensional effect that adds a 

new and unique look to aircraft cabins. The colourways focus on sunlit 

natural hues in warm combinations that are endearingly hospitable. 

The reproduction of structures for curtain fabrics is achieved with 

special technologies. 

Genuinely lighter 

Andrew Muirhead is to supply Gulf Air with its Voyager 

Low Carbon Leather. The new leather has been 

specified by launch customer Gulf Air who has just 

received the first consignment for business class 

seating on its A320 fleet. 

With estimated savings of $200,000 USD in fuel costs, 

the made-to-order leather is 30% lighter (≈600 grams per 

square metre), whilst still a full 1mm in thickness (less 

weight doesn’t mean less leather) and most importantly, 

still 100% genuine leather. It has greater elasticity than 

standard leather which allows for more flexible use. The 

raw material has not changed and it has all the properties 

expected from genuine leather. 

John Tighe, Senior Manager at Gulf Air said his 

company’s decision to order Voyager was based on 

improving competitiveness, reducing operational 

costs and offering customers a greener product: 

“Voyager offers savings in operational costs due to 

the lighter weight of the leather. Benefits in 

operational costs will result in Gulf Air burning an 

estimated $200,000 USD less fuel per year in the 

A320 fleet alone once the fit out is completed. 

(Compared to normal leather) This has the knock on 

effect of reducing our carbon emissions.” 

The design counsel provided by Lantal focuses on the customer’s 

philosophy and style, but also factors in the trends that accommodate 

the needs of passengers. Lantal’s mission is to make a significant 

contribution to passenger well-being as well as to the sustainable 

commercial success and reduced environmental footprint of the carrier. 

With fit-and-fly products such as pre-cut carpets, ready-made seatcovers 

and pleated curtains, Lantal also perceptibly cuts the airline’s process 

management and handling costs.

New SafTGlo 

product launch 

STG Aerospace will reveal the latest innovative addition 

to its SafTGlo photoluminescent (PL) floorpath 

marking system range at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2011. 

The unveiling follows another successful year of 

sales to new and existing customers, and will broaden 

the appeal of the cost-saving system even further. 

Peter Stokes, Chief Executive, STG Aerospace,

development in PL emergency floorpath marking at

both during the day and at night with up to 16 cameras and without 

additional routers, switches, converter units or displays. The camera 

system automatically switches between a coloured day view 

mode and an infrared night view mode. 

Additionally it can be connected with the pilots’ 

EFBs (Electronic Flight Bag) Class II. Neither 

additional routers nor switches or converter units 

are needed, nor are additional displays in the 

cockpit or an extra system control unit 

required. As aerosight uses the EFB Class 

II for display, control and handling, it saves 

weight and simplifies installation compared 

to other camera systems.

GuestLogix, Inc. and digEcor Inc. have signed an agreement to integrate GuestLogix’ OnTouch ® retail 

technology and merchandising platform with digEcor’s digEplayer family of products. The joint effort will result

New wireless 

AVOD technology 

There have been a few attempts in the last 

couple of years to achieve the IFE crown 

jewel: a wireless AVOD system. While for 

some, the wireless dream became nothing 

more than an ever elusive mirage, InFlight 

Entertainment Products has worked for years 

overcoming obstacles and waiting for 

technology to catch up with the dream and 

has finally made it reality! 

“Our overall objective was to reduce 

infrastructure, lower costs, and introduce the 

latest technology to maximize both airline and 

passenger experience,” explains Chief 

Operating Officer Jim Shipley. One of the 

greatest challenges with a wireless AVOD 

system has always been: “How do you stream 

so much content wirelessly with such limited 

bandwidth?” The short answer is to store 

content locally at the seat and stream only 

what’s absolutely necessary, i.e. moving map, 

flight attendant announcements, and of 

course, content changes.

New range of water based cabin coatings 

AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings has added three new low solvent, FAR compliant products to its Aerofine range 

for the maintenance and refurbishment of aircraft internal cabin surfaces. 

• Aerofine Topcoat is a low VOC fast-drying one-component water based finish, ideal for upgrading cabin 

interiors. Its formulation creates the optimum balance between flexibility and durability while the low solvent 

level means reduced smell and a safer, more pleasant environment for operatives. Aerofine is easy to apply 

and leaves a mar and stain-resistant finish with excellent cleanability properties for aircraft interior surfaces that 

must withstand everyday wear and frequent, often aggressive, cleaning. AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings 

supplies Aerofine in a wide range of colours and in a choice of matt and semi-gloss sheen levels. The coating 

can also be used to create a variety of decorative effects to enhance the cabin interiors and helps define and 

enhance the image of the carrier. This could involve using more than one colour- for example, by ‘spatter 

coating’ a second toning shade onto a plain painted surface. 

• Aerofine Sanding Surfacer has been designed for use on most of the commonly found substrates in aircraft 

cabin interiors. This fast drying, easy to sand, waterborne product, uses the latest resin technology to set new 

standards in reduced process times (and therefore reduced costs) and environmental care while also improving 

adhesion and providing a smooth finish ready for painting. 

• Aerofine Pinhole Filler is a low VOC, shrinkage-free one-component product for use on small surface 

imperfections such as pinholes and scratches and cures quickly at ambient conditions. As with the other new 

Aerofine products, it is compatible with the most commonly used aircraft interior materials and substrates. The 

easy wipe on and wipe off application leads to improved process times and quicker production throughput.

Crystal Cabin Award 

Zum fünften Mal wird der Crystal 

Cabin Award in Zusammenhang mit 

der Aircraft Interiors Expo in 

Hamburg vergeben. 42 Unternehmen 

aus 10 verschiedenen Ländern 

erhoffen sich den diesjährigen Preis 

für Innovationen im Bereich der 

Flugzeug Kabinen. Einige Unternehmen haben eine 

Pressekonferenz 

Anzahl an innovativen Produkten und Konzepten 

eingereicht. Das Auswahlkomitee hat insgesamt 52 

Einreichungen akzeptiert. Die Einreichungen werden 

nun von einer internationalen Jury untersucht und 

ausgewertet, die sich auch 18 Luftfahrtexperten 

zusammensetzt, so dass die 21 Finalisten im März 

nominiert werden können. Die Auszeichnungen 

werden in sechs verschiedenen Kategorien verliehen. 

Es gibt außerdem noch einen Ehrenpreis der Jury. 

Am Eröffnungstag wird eine Pressekonferenz mit hochrangigen Industrieexperten gehalten, die ihre 

Erfahrungen und ihren Einblick in die Zukunft der Aircraft Interieur Industrie teilen werden.

Nahtlose bequemlichkeit 

Jedes Jahr begibt sich das Lantal Entwicklungsteam auf eine Expedition, 

die in der Konzeptvorhersage gipfelt. Im Auftrag der Airline Industrie 

erforschen sie die Hauptpunkte von Megatrends wie „Eco-Spass“ und 

„Privatssphähre“ Die Ergebnisse werden gefilter und in einem Trendbrief 

zusammengefasst, welcher den Fahrplan für eine neue Kollektion darstellt. 

Die Konzeptvorhersage für 2011 wurde von den Themen Natur, Netze und 

Waben dominiert.. Sie wurden in strapazierfähige und biologisch abbaubare 

Climatex ® LifeguardFR Sitzpolster Stoffen und gewichtssparenden 

Bodenbelägen mit aussagekräftigen Strukturen umgesetzt. Die strukturellen 

Designs haben einen raffinierten dreidimensionalen Effekt, welcher den 

Flugzeugkabinen einen neuen und einzigartigen Look gibt.. Die 

Farbeinstellungen sind auf natürliche Sonnentöne in warmen Kombinationen 

ausgerichtet, die liebenswert gastfreundlich wirken. Die Reproduktion von 

Strukturen für Vorhangstoffe wird durch spezielle Technologien erzielt. 

Der von Lantal gestellte Rat für Design legte das Augenmerk auf 

Wirklich leichter 

Andrew Muirhead beliefert Gulf Air mit seinem 

„Voyager“ kohlenstoffarmen Leder. Das neue Leder 

wurde vom Erstkunden Gulf Air spezifiziert, der gerade 

eine Erstlieferung von Business Class Bestuhlung für 

seine A320er Flotte erhielt. 

Mit ungefähren Kraftstoffeinsparungen von 200.000 

USD, ist das maßgeschneiderte Leder etwa 30% 

leichter (ca. 600 Gramm pro qm), wobei es noch immer 

eine Dicke von 1mm hat (weniger Gewicht bedeutet 

nicht weniger Leder) und vor allem noch 100% echtes 

Leder ist. Es hat eine größere Elastizität als 

herkömmliches Leder, was es flexibler im Einsatz macht. 

Das Rohmaterial wurde nicht geändert und es hat alle 

Eigenschaften, die man von echtem Leder erwartet. 

John Tighe, Senior Manager bei Gulf Air sagte, dass 

seine Entscheidung, Voyager zu bestellen auf der 

Basis der verbesserten Konkurrenzfähigkeit, der 

sinkenden laufenden Kosten und der Möglichkeit, 

Kunden ein umweltfreundlicheres Produkt anbieten zu 

können, getroffen wurde: 

„Voyager bietet durch sein geringeres 

Ledergewicht niedrigere laufende Kosten. Geringere 

Betriebskosten bedeuten, dass Gulf Air ungefähr 

200.000 USD weniger an Kraftstoff pro Jahre alleine 

in der A320 Flotte verbrennen wird, sobald die 

Ausstattung erfolgt ist. (Im Vergleich zu normalem 

Leder) Dies hat zur Folge, dass wir unseren 

Kohlenstoffausstoß verringern.“ 

Kundenphilosophie und Stil, aber zog ebenso die Trends mit in Betracht, 

die die Kundenwünsche berücksichtigt. Lanta´s Mission ist es sowohl

der Airlines merklich.

Neuer SafTGlo produktstart 

STG Aerospace wird auf der Aircraft Interiors Expo 

2011 ihren innovativen Neuzugang zum ihrer Palette 

der SafTGlo photolumineszenten (PL) 

Bodenmarkierungssysteme vorstellen. 

Die Enthüllung erfolgt nach einem weiteren 

erfolgreichen Verkaufsjahr bei Neu- und 

Bestandskunden und wird das kostensparende 

System noch interessanter machen. 

Peter Stokes, Geschäftsführer, STG Aerospace

Flugklassen anbieten zu können. Auf einem Markt der 

immer kürzere Lieferzeiten verlangt, ermöglichen es die 

firmeninternen Initiativen (z.B. Schlankes Management) 

und Kapazitätserweiterung, diese Anforderung ideal zu 

erfüllen. „Wachstum erfordert eine kontinuierliche 

Optimierung von Unternehmensprozessen“, so

firmeneigene tintenabweisende Technologie

entwickelte, nach oben schwenkbare Konsole, die es 

Passagieren mit Behinderungen ermöglicht, von einem 

Rollstuhl aus einfacher auf einem Gangsitz Platz zu 

nehmen – selbst bei eng gestellten Sitzreihen. Die 

Armlehne des Premium Line 3510 ist dabei so 

konstruiert, dass sie auch dann hochgeklappt 

werden kann, wenn sie mit zusätzlichen 

Video-Funktionen ausgestattet ist. Mit dieser

Sitzes. 

Gleichwohl nützlich für neue Flugzeuge wie für 

Interior Neugestaltungsprogramme, wurde der 3100 

Sitz entwickelt, um Passagieren einen außergewöhnlich 

komfortablen Flug zu bieten. Fluggesellschaften haben 

den FeatherWeight 3100, produziert von TIMCO 

Aerosystems Bereich Brice Seating, an Bord von über 

100 Flugzeuge gewählt. Mit ungefähr 9 Kilogramm 

(inklusive Tablett, Sicherheitsgurt und Tasche für die 

Sicherheitsweste) pro Standardsitz, ist der 3100 einer 

der Leichtesten auf dem heutigen Markt. 

Integrierte sicherheit 

Lufthansa’s Technik Geschäftszweig „Innovation“ wird auf der Aircraft Interiors Expo 2011 das 

Produkt aerosight vorstellen, ein IP (Internet Protokoll) basierendes Kamerasystem mit 

integrierter LAN (Local Area Network) Schnittstelle. 

aerosight bietet den Pioten die Möglichkeit, den Zugang zum Cockpit zu 

überwachen und die Frachtbereiche sowohl während des Tages als auch über Nacht 

mit bis zu 16 Kameras einzusehen, ohne zusätzliche Router, Switches, Converter 

oder Monitoren. Das Kamerasystem wechselt automatisch zwischen der 

Farbansicht im Tagesmodus und der Infrarotsicht im Nachtmodus. 

Zusätzlich kann es an das Piloten EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) 

Klasse II angeschlossen werden. Weder zusätzliche Router, 

Switches oder Convertereinheiten sind erforderlich, 

ebensowenig wie zusätzliche Bildschirme im Cockpit oder 

eine zusätzliche Kontrolleinheit. Da aerosight das EFB 

Class II für die Darstellung, Kontrolle und Verwaltung 

nutzt, spart es an Gewicht und vereinfacht die 

Installation im Vergleich zu anderen 

Kamerasystemen.

Platzsparende innovation 

Airbus Kabinen sind konzeptioniert, um Airlines die höchstmögliche Effizienz zu bieten. Die innovative 

Nutzung von Kabinenraum , die eine potentielle Ertragssteigerung darstellt, wird das Hauptthema der 

Airbus Präsenz auf der Aircraft Interiors Expo 2011 sein. Nach der Vorstellung des funktionsfähigen 

SPICE (SPace Innovative Catering Equipment) Prototypen im letzten Jahr, zeigt Airbus den Fortschritt der 

Kundentests von raumsparenden Catering Systemen. SPICE verbessert die Arbeitskonditionen der 

Besatzung und bietet gleichzeitig eine Gewichtsreduktion von hunderten Kilogramm und schafft Raum für 

Sitze, die zusätzlichen Umsatz bingen. Im letzten Jahr eröffnete Airbus eine maßstabsgetreue 

Testeinrichtung für SPICE und demonstrierte den kompletten Kabinenservice für bis zu 200 Passagiere. 

Airbus stell ebenso die innovative Architektur des A350 XWB vor, welcher für eine erweiterte 

Kabinenflexibilität entwickelt wurde. Die Flexibilität basiert auf Platform, die entwickelt wurde, umd eine 

Vielfalt von Bedieneranforderugen zu erfüllen, Standardinterface, die eine Modifikation der Kabine und 

der Kabineneinrichtungen ermöglichen, dessen modulares Design es den Fluggesellschaften ermöglicht, 

ihre Anforderungen an Differenzierung zu verwirklichen, wobei die Risiken der Entwicklung entfallen. Eine 

wichtige Konsequenz ist die Möglichkeit der Airlines, ihre Kabinen im Service viel schneller umzubauen 

als vorher. 

Raum für Innovationen wird wohl am besten vom A380 demonstriert, der mehr Platz für Passagiere 

bietet als jede andere Flugzeug. Mit mehr als 40 Flugzeugen im Einsatz, wird die bisher nie dagewesene 

Anerkennung des A380 durch Passagiere durch breitere Sitze, selbst in der Economy Class, sowohl von 

neuen als auch Bestandskunden bestätigt, die höhere Ladefaktoren und eine erhöhte Profitibilität erfahren. 

Airbus Effizienz im Bereich Raum geht über neue Produkte hinaus. Airbus Upgrade Services werden 

eine Vielfalt an Retrofit Lösungen anbieten, inklusive der A320 Serie erweiterte Kabine, grössere 

Overhead Bins und Stimmungsbeleuchtung. 

EAM weitet die RFID auf Kabinenequipment aus 

EAM Worldwide, ein führender Hersteller von 

hochwertigen Rettungswesten, Rettungsinseln und 

Überlebensausrüstung, ist Stolz darauf, die neueste 

Anwendung im Bereich von RFID ausgestattetem 

Kabinenequipment, vorzustellen. Zusätzlich zum 

Einsatz der „Asset Tracking“ Möglichkeiten bei ihren 

eigenen Produkten, kann EAM ebenso das gesamte 

Flugzeug mit der RFID Technologie ausstatten, und ihre 

bewährte Lösung zur Verfolgung aller erfassten 

Gegenstände nutzen. 

„Von Rettungswesten über Sauerstoffmasken bis hin 

zur Avionik und den Carts kann EAM alle wichtigen 

Kabinenbestandsteile für die sofortige Verfolgung oder 

Ablaufmeldungen erfassen,“ sagt Eloy Leal, Leiter der 

Bereiche Operations und Engineering. „Indem man 

die RFID

täglichen Abläufe

Das licht sehen 

WASP hat seine „suite lighting“ Designs um eine 

neue Selektion an Eindrücken erweitert, Lese-, 

Plansch- und Waschbeleuchtung. Die 

Beleuchtungen werden durch einige neue SIPS 

unterstützt, um den Ansprüchen von Kunden und 

Anbietern gleichzeitig gerecht zu werden. Mit den 

Kenntnissen und den Erfahrungen aus der 

Entwicklung und Herstellung von angepassten 

Sitzkontrollsystemen für viele der führenden 

Airlines der Welt, hat WASP neue 

Beleuchtungsdesings für die gehobenen 

Ansprüche des modernen Reisens hinzugefügt. 

Verdeckt durch innovatives und attraktives Design, 

bieten die Lichter einen hohen Standard an 

Funktionalität, das es dem Passagier erlaubt, fast 

jede erforderliche Option zu kontrollieren, inklusive 

Winkel, Lichtstärke und Streuung, alles durch eine 

simple Bedienfunktion. Interne Designabstimmung 

wird durch WASPs Farboptionen erzielt, so dass 

die Lichter an die Umgebung angepasst werden. 

Die Lichter nutzen die neueste LED 

Technologie, um die Anforderungen von Niedrig 

und Normalstrombetrieb zu erfüllen, die ebenso

Crane Aerospace & Electronics haben ihre neues mcX Premdium Modular Control System der „nächsten 

Generation“ vorgestellt. Die modulare Systemarchitektur, dessen Patent derzeit auf die Genehmigung wartet, 

reduziert die Gesamthardware und Systemkabel-Komplexität, und stellt sicher, dass diese System leicht 

skalierbar und anpassungsfähig ist. Das System wird erstmalig auf der Aircraft Interiors Expo 2011 demonstriert. 

„Das neue mcX System mit seiner einzigartigen Architektur bietet Sitzherstellern einen grossen Raum für

Neue kabellose 

AVOD technologie 

In den letzten Jahren hat es einige Versuche 

gegeben, den IFE Kronjuwelen zu erreichen: 

ein kabelloses AVOD System. Während für 

einige der kabellose Traum nicht mehr als eine 

Fata Morgana blieb, arbeitete InFlight 

Entertainment Products jahrelang daran, 

Hürden zu überwinden und auf die Technologie 

zu warten, um dem Traum nahezukommen und 

machten es endlich möglich! 

„Unser Ziel war es, die Infrastruktur zu 

reduzieren, Kosten zu senken und die neueste 

Technologie zur Maximierung sowohl der Airline 

als auch der Kundenerfahrung, einzuführen.,“ 

erklärt Geschäftsführer Jim Shipley. Eine der 

größten Herausforderungen eines kabellosen 

AVOD System war immer die Frage: „Wie 

streamed man so viel Inhalt über eine so 

beschränkte Bandbreite?“ Die kurze Antwort ist 

den Inhalt lokal am Sitz zu speichern und nur 

das Nötigste zu steamen, z.b. die bewegliche 

Karte, Ansagen des Flugpersonals und natürlich 

inhaltlliche Änderungen. 

Indem sie aus der Vergangenheit lernten, haben 

IFE Products dieses Konzept genommen und sich 

bemüht, jeden Aspekt des AVOD Systems zu 

überholen. Sie nutzten die neueste LED 

Touchscreen Technologie für die Sitzbildschirme, 

entwickelten proprietäre WLAN Access Points mit 

blitzschnellen Verbindungsgeschwindigkeiten und 

in die 15” Flugbegleiter-Kontrollpanelen integrierte 

Laufwerke, so dass der Content Server verdoppelt 

werden konnte. Mit einer komplett neuen Art, 

haben sie das älteste Problem des kabellosen 

AVOD Systems gelöst, inklusive Stromverlust oder 

Verbindungsunterbrechung während 

Inhaltsänderungen, und wie der technische Leiter 

Robert Hickey beschreibt: „Durch die neuen 

Methoden und Technologie haben wir einen 

Traum in die Wirklichkeit umgesetzt.“ 

Auf die Frage, ob wir das originale Ziel 

erreicht haben antwortet Shipley begeister „Ja! 

Wir haben die Infrastruktur durch Entfernen 

von Kabeln und extra Servern reduziert; wir 

bieten dieses System zu einem unschlagbaren 

Preis an, und wir glauben fest daran, dass die 

Passagiere es durch die LED Touchscreens 

lieben werden.“ 

Der Start dieses Systems ist auf der Aircraft 

Interiors Expo 2011 geplant.

Neues leichtkissen 

montageprogramm 

Skandia, Inc. hat ein neues Leichtkissen 

Montageprogramm ins Leben gerufen, das den neuen 

und verbesserten DAX Schaumstoff DAX SP 

(dämmend) integriert. DAX SP eine Hauptkomponente 

in der von Skandia entwickelten Leichtkissenherstellung, 

die das Gewicht um 20-30% reduziert und sich 

gleichzeitig als extrem feuerfest erweist. 

Zusätzlich zur Gewichtsreduktion der Kissen und 

den besseren Testergebnissen im feuerfesten 

Bereich, fühlt sich DAX SP ebenso besser in der 

Hand an, sieht glatter unter den Überzügen aus und 

bietet allen Komfort und Haltbarkeit. 

Im Kissenschaumstoff wirkt DAX SP als 

Schutzlage, die den Gewichtsverlust und den Abrieb 

des Polstermaterials reduziert. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist 

die Umweltverträglichkeit von DAX SP, es ist in 

Platten-, als auch Rollenform erhältlich, in Stärken 

von 1/8 Zoll bis ½ Zoll.

• „Aerofine Sanding Surfacer“ wurde für die Benutzung auf allen gängigen Substraten in Flugzeugkabinen 

entwickelt. Dieses schnellstrockende, leicht zu schleifende auf Wasser basierende Produkt nutzt die neueste 

Harz-Technologie, um neue Standards in verkürzten Verarbeitungszeiten (und dadurch geringere Kosten) und 

Umweltschutz zu setzen, während gleichzeitig die Klebkraft verbessert und dadurch eine glatte Oberfläche für 

den Anstrich gegeben ist. 

• „Aerofine Pinhole Filler“ ist ein nicht schrumpfendes Einkomponenten-Produkt, gering an VOC, zur Behandlung 

von kleinen Oberflächenunebenheiten wie Nadellöchern und Kratzern und beseitigt schnell 

temperaturabhängige Probleme. Wie auch die anderen Aerofine Produkten, ist es kompatibel mit den 

gängigsten Flugzeuginnenraum Materialien und Substraten. Das leichte Auftragen und Entfernen verbessert die 

Verarbeitungszeit und führt zu einer kürzeren Herstellungszeit.
