Several years later, taking advantage of anopportunistic hotel investment market, both propertieswere sold with proceeds going towards <strong>Outrigger</strong>’s multimilliondollar Waikiki Beach Walk redevelopment.<strong>Outrigger</strong>’s success in managing the two Marriottproperties, however, opened up a new chapter in hoteloperations for the company – managing hotels underindependent brands. <strong>Outrigger</strong> today is no longer justa single-brand hospitality company.
