Subject to volumes andsuitability Inovia will undertake specific project work ofthis type.Inovia is searching constantly for new raw materialsources and development of potential new products.Suppliers and growers providing product to Inovia arerequired to demonstrate responsibility in the way inwhich agricultural or botanical products are producedand harvested. This includes Organic Certifiedmaterials, Fair Trade products, traceability andcertification. Inovia does not conduct or commissiontesting of materials on animals.In addition to its own laboratory facilities Inovia workswith a number of recognised third party laboratories.This provides for independent assessment andcertification of materials and facilities such asmicrobiological testing and assurance. All Inoviaproducts are offered against a formal written productspecification. Customers with their own specificationsand requests are invited to discuss these.Samples of products are supplied on request toenable customers to evaluate suitability on bothlaboratory and/or pilot production scales.Additional facilities for final producttesting include:• stability testing (accelerated storage)• packaging compatibility• preservative challenge testing• dermatological testingCosts of testing in these areas are increasinglycompetitive and provide clients with an opportunity toassure compliance prior to product launch.
