CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRATIONMUNICIPAL CORPORATIONe-JAN SAMPARKBOOKING OF OPEN SPACE/GROUND FOR PERSONAL USEUse of Open Space/public parks for holding social functions can be made in the office of theMunicipal Corporation Chandigarh at the Booking Centre. Permission shall be given for holdingpublic function in open space, parks at the following rates :-1. The Open Space, Grounds and Parks etc shall be booked in the names of the residents of Chandigarhimmediately on receipt of request at the Booking Centre in the office of Municipal Corporation Sector 17,Chandigarh on all -working days. The space booking has also been initiated at E-sampark Centres.2. General Instructions / Do’s and Don’ts• The booking window shall remain open from 9.30 A.M. to 1.00 P.M.• For booking of Open Space, Ground and Parks etc. applicants shall furnish proof of beingresident of Chandigarh such as voter card, ration card etc., and will attach photo copy ofthe same with the application form.• Application forms for booking of Open Space, Ground and Parks etc. are availablebetween 10.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. at the booking center.3. Present booking rates of Open Space, Ground and Parks etc. are as below:-Rate of Open Spaces :-For areas upto 2000 Sq. yds.For area from 2001 Sq. yds to 4000 Sq. Yds.For areas from 4001 Sq. Yds. to 10,000 Sq. yds.Rs. 300/- (per day)Rs. 500/-(per day)Rs. 1000/- (per day)4. The Cleaning charges shall be charged extra only on ground rates as per detail below:-AreaUpto 2,000 sq.yardUpto 4,000 Sq.yardUpto 10,000 Sq.YardAmountRs.300/- dayRs.500/- dayRs.1000./- day6. Permission is granted within 10 Minutes of presentation of forms at the Booking WindowBetween 9.30 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. (Form Attached at Flag-‘A’)7. The Ground charges do not include Water and Electricity facilities. The applicant has to arrangewater and electricity at its own level.8. The Open Space, Ground and Parks etc is booked on as is where is basis and in case theapplicant is not satisfied with the conditions at the Open Space, Ground and Parks etc after thebooking, the Municipal Corporation shall not be responsible on any account. The residents areadvised to satisfy themselves about the conditions prior to the booking of the CommunityCentres.9. The booking is made only for social functions and no commercial activity shall be allowed in theOpen Space, Ground and Parks etc. in case applicants intends to do commercial activity stall etc.the commercial rates shall be applicable.10. The change of date and venue is allowed by the Municipal Corporation subject to payment offee as below and subject to availably of venue as sought , the charges are as below:-S.No Date/Venue Rate to be charged on account ofchange of date/venue1 Parks/Ground Rs.50/-2 Green belts Rs.100/-11. 25% refund is given in case booking is cancelled 7 days prior to the due date and 50% refund isgiven if the booking is cancelled 15 days prier to due date.
