A. Duties of the CoronetThe duties, responsibilities and privileges of the Coronet are detailed in Corpora IV. H.Article II. B. Duties of the Coronet of the Principality of the Summits1) The Coronet shall use Their power to defend and protect the Principality of the Summits and theKingdom of An Tir.2) The Coronet shall work to see that justice is done and that the glory that is the Principality of theSummits and the Kingdom of An Tir is in no way diminished.3) The Coronet agrees to allow personal access information to be published in the official Kingdomand Principality publications of the SCA, Inc. (The Crier and The Echoes) and on official Societywebsite(s) as defined by the Board of Directors.4) The Coronet may delegate unto any subject the execution of Coronet power for a stated specificpurpose such as transmission of an award to a person properly named and selected.5) The Coronet will render an Oath of Fealty for Their lands at each Coronation of the Sovereignand Consort of An Tir. This Oath may be delivered by letter, but must be renewed in person atthe first opportunity.6) The Coronet shall provide a report on the State of the Principality to the Crown of An Tir at eachCoronation. Copies shall be sent to the Tanist and ban Tanist, as applicable and may be sent tothe Kingdom and Principality Seneschals.Article II. C. Coronet Lists1) The Coronet Lists shall be fought at two Coronet Tournaments per year.a. Spring Coronet Tournament – A weekend no sooner than the weekend before theVernal Equinox and no later then the last weekend in March.b. Fall Coronet Tournament – Third weekend in September.2) All Combatants and consorts must be paid members of the Society for Creative Anachronism,Inc. and have access to The Crier and The Echoes at their place of residence.3) All combatants and consorts entering the Coronet List of the Principality of the Summits must bea minimum of eighteen years of age.6

The Laws of the Principality of the SummitsJune 20134) Combatants in the Coronet List must be a resident of the Principality for at least 1 year and mustlive within the Principality of the Summits for the duration of their reign. The Coronet may grantexceptions to this requirement, if requested in advance and if the Coronet is satisfied that thecombatant and consort will meet all obligations.5) All authorized fighters who meet residency requirements of the Principality of the Summits havethe right to compete in the Coronet List, unless they are denied entry by the Coronet or are inviolation of the rules of the Coronet List, the governing documents of the Society, the Laws ofthe Kingdom of An Tir, the Laws of the Principality of the Summits or modern law jurisdiction.6) Both combatant and consort will present themselves to the Principality Seneschal and Ministerof the Lists to confirm membership and authorization status. Combatant will present currentSCA Membership and Fighter Authorization Cards and the Consort will present a current SCAMembership Card, confirming that both are eligible based upon Membership requirements putforth in Corpora. Once confirmed, the combatant’s name may be entered in the Coronet List.7) All combatants and consorts must be present on the day of the List and presented to theCoronet. The decision as to the acceptability of each participant rests solely with the Coronetand is final.8) By entering the Coronet List, a combatant declares that s/he has a consort of the oppositegender who has agreed to reign with them, should the combatant win; however should theCrown of An Tir elect to allow same sex couples in the Royal lists, the Coronet then has theoption to allow same sex couples in the Summits Coronet list.9) No combatant may fight for more than one prospective consort and no person may have morethan one combatant fighting for him/her in a given Coronet List. During the invocation of theCoronet List, all combatants and consorts shall declare that they:a. Are loyal to the Crown of An Tir and the Coronet of the Summitsb. Will uphold the laws of the Kingdom of An Tir and the Principality of the Summitsc. Will respect the customs and traditions of the Kingdom of An Tir and Principality of theSummits.10) No one shall compete for the Coronet without intending to reign should they win.11) Both combatant and consort are aware that the positions of Prince and Princess of the Summitsmay require expenditures in excess of membership fees and allowable reimbursements. Neitherthe Prince nor the Princess may fight or be fought for in the Coronet List.Article II. D. Combat Conventions1) The Coronet List Combat Conventions shall be determined by the Coronet.2) The Combat Conventions will be published to the populace four weeks prior to the CoronetTournament in the official Kingdom and Principality publications of the SCA, Inc (The Crier andThe Echoes) and on the official Society website(s) as defined by the Board of Directors.Article II. E. List Victory, Investiture of Tanist and ban Tanist (Tanista)1) Upon victory of the Coronet Tournament, the victor and consort shall, within ten days, provideproof of SCA Memberships through the end of their reign as Prince and Princess to thePrincipality Seneschal. The Principality Seneschal must verify memberships.7

The Laws of the Principality of the SummitsJune 20132) Upon victory of the Coronet Tournament, the victor and consort shall be invested as theCoronet Heirs and titled Tanist and ban Tanist (or Tanista) as per custom.3) The Tanist and ban Tanist shall swear fealty to the populace of the Summits and obedience tothe Laws of the Kingdom of An Tir and the Laws of the Principality of the Summits. These oathsshall be witnessed by the Principality Seneschal, Bleu Grael Herald, Principality Earl Marshal,Principality of the Summits Champions and such members of the Peerage who attend CoronetTournament.4) Upon victory of the Coronet Tournament, the Tanist and ban Tanist shall declare that they willattend Their Investiture, preside over the activities of the following Coronet Tournament andattend the Investiture of Their successors.Article II. F. Investiture of the Coronet Heirs – Tanist and ban Tanist1) The Investiture of the Coronet Heirs (Tanist and ban Tanist) shall take place at a PrincipalityCoronet Investiture. The two Coronet Investitures shall take place on the weekend closest to thefollowing calendar dates:a. Summer Investiture – Summer Solsticeb. Winter Investiture (11 th Night) – two weeks prior to Winter Solstice2) At Their Investiture, the Coronet Heirs (Tanist and ban Tanist) shall swear fealty to the Crown ofAn Tir and obedience to the Laws of the Kingdom of An Tir. Should the Crown not be present toaccept their oaths, written oaths shall be sent to the Crown upon Investiture and spoken oathssworn in-person at the first opportunity.3) At Their Investiture, the Coronet Heirs (Tanist and ban Tanist) shall swear fealty to the RoyalPeers, Peers and populace of the Principality of the Summits.4) The Coronet Heirs (Tanist and ban Tanist) shall be Invested with the Customary InvestitureCeremony for the Prince and Princess of the Principality of the Summits.5) The Coronet Heirs (Tanist and ban Tanist) shall be allowed to create a “persona” correctInvestiture Ceremony; however, it must contain all the customary oaths and ceremoniescontained in the Investiture Ceremony for the Prince and Princess of the Principality of theSummits.Article II. G. Tournament Invalidation, Failure to Invest1) Should, for any reason, a Coronet Tournament be declared invalid or the Tanist and ban Tanistelect to abdicate directly or abdicate by failure to appear or respond for Their Investiture, aCoronet List shall be called for the Saturday morning of Coronet Investiture.2) A Coronet Investiture Tournament shall be open to those who were eligible and competed inthe previous Coronet List and who currently meet eligibility requirements as stated inPrincipality Law.3) The Tanist and ban Tanist who abdicate are explicitly excluded as both combatants and consortsfrom the Coronet Investiture Tournament List.4) Any person or persons whose actions or inactions were the grounds for an invalidation of theCoronet Tournament are explicitly excluded as both combatant and consort from the CoronetInvestiture.8

Abdication1) A letter from the Tanist and/or ban Tanist to the Principality Seneschal indicating intent toabdicate constitutes official abdication and will be in effect immediately upon receipt. A lettermust be sent Certified, Return Receipt Requested through the United States Postal Service tothe Principality Seneschal’s current address.2) An e-mail sent from the Tanist and/or ban Tanist to the Principality Seneschal’s e-mail accountindicating intent to abdicate constitutes official abdication and will be in effect immediatelyupon authentication and confirmation of receipt by the Principality Seneschal.Article II. I. Failure to Reign1) Should either the Prince or Princess be unable to complete the reign, the other shall assume theduties of both for the remainder of the reign.2) Should both Prince and Princess be unable to complete the reign, administrative duties of theCoronet shall fall to the Defender of the Summits and the Coronet shall revert to the Crown ofAn Tir until such time as a Coronet List may be held.3) Failure of the Prince and Princess to attend a required Coronet event constitutes failure to reignand shall be taken as abdication unless the failure to attend is beyond the control of the Coronetand no failure to reign is demonstrated.Article II. J. The Regent1) In the event that the Coronet of the Summits is unable to conclude Their reign or haveabdicated, the Defender of the Summits shall serve as Regent.2) If the Defender of the Summits cannot fulfill the Regent’s duties, the Crown shall select the mostsuitable person to serve as Regent. In this instance, the Defender of the Summits may not fightor be fought for in the next Coronet Tournament.3) The duties of the Regent are:a. The Regent shall not have the authority to amend or change the Laws of the Principalityof the Summits or to bestow awards.b. If the Coronet has officially abdicated without Coronet Heirs, the Regent shall invest theCoronet victor and consort of the next Coronet Tournament as Prince and Princessimmediately.c. The Regent may not fight or be fought for in the Coronet List.d. If the Coronet officially abdicates after a successful Coronet Tournament, the Regentshall invest the Tanist and ban Tanist as Prince and Princess at the next scheduledInvestiture Event.Article II. K. Coronet Finances1) The Coronet shall be reimbursed for allowable expenses as defined in the Principality of theSummits’ Financial Policy2) The Coronet shall have access to and may utilize the Summits’ Travel Fund and Gryphon TravelFund as defined in The Principality of the Summits Financial Policy.3) The Tanist and ban Tanist shall be reimbursed for allowable expenses as defined in thePrincipality of the Summits Financial Policy.9

The Laws of the Principality of the SummitsJune 20134) The Coronet, Tanist and ban Tanist shall be exempt from all Summits Coronet, Principality andBranch Event Fees, as defined in the Principality of the Summits Financial Policy.Article III.OFFICERS OF COURT AND STATEArticle III. A. Officer ResponsibilitiesAll Officers of Court and State shall:1) Be paid members of the SCA Inc. and have access to The Crier and The Echoes at their place ofresidence.2) Be at least eighteen years of age.3) Be a resident of the Principality of the Summits and reside within the principality for theduration of their term of office, or be acceptable to the Coronet.4) Execute the lawful commands of the Crown of An Tir and the Coronet of the Summits and abideby Kingdom and Principality Law and policies.5) Carry out additional duties as are appropriate to their office and/or as directed by the Coronet.6) Agree to allow personal contact information to be published in official Kingdom and Principalitypublications of the SCA, Inc. (The Crier and The Echoes) and on official Society website(s) asdefined by the Board of Directors.7) Be exempt from site fees at all Coronet and Principality Events.8) Attend the four Coronet Events each year (Spring Coronet, Summer Investiture, Fall Coronet andWinter Investiture), unless receiving exemption from the Coronet.9) Officers of Court must attend the event where their successor is chosen, if not a Coronet Event.10) Attend Curia and Moot at each Coronet Event.11) No Principality Officer may hold more than one office at a time (ie: a branch and/or aprincipality and/or a kingdom office at the same time). Exceptions may be granted by both ofthe relevant superior officers, in writing, with the concurrence of the Coronet (in the case of anOfficer of Court) or the Principality Seneschal (in the case of an Officer of State) on a case-bycasebasis.Article III. B. Officers of Court – Principality Champions1) Principality Champions are considered the Officers of the Royal Court.a. Principality Champions are selected through competition rather than by appointment.b. Entrants in any Principality Championship Tournament or Competition must beresidents of the Principality for one year prior to the Championship and live within theprincipality for the duration of their term of service, or be acceptable to the Coronet.c. All Principality Champions’ terms of service shall be for a period of one year or until thenext applicable Championship is held.d. Should a Principality Champion become an Heir to the Crown or Coronet, that championshall surrender the Championship and in all cases the Coronet shall appoint a suitablereplacement.e. In addition to Article III.A.7, Principality Champions shall be exempt from event fees forthe Championship at which their successor will be chosen.f. Principality Champions may not hold Principality Greater Offices.2) All Principality Champions shall:a. Swear an Oath of Fealty or Oath of Service to the Coronet of the Summits.b. Support the Coronet in war and take the field at the Coronet’s command.10

The Laws of the Principality of the SummitsJune 2013c. Speak or act in the Coronet’s name when specifically delegated to do so.d. Further the interests of their area of endeavor.e. Have a place at the High Table for the Champion and a guest.f. Stand armed near the Coronet at all events.g. Bear and display the regalia of their position.h. Announce the rules and guidelines, for the Championship Tournament/Competition thatchooses their successor, at Principality Courts.i. Publish the rules and guideline for the Championship Tournament/Competition in theofficial principality publications of the SCA, Inc. (The Crier and The Echoes) and on theofficial Society website(s) as defined by the Board of Directors.3) Designations of Champions:a. The Coronet shall determine and create such Titled Champions as they deem necessary.b. The current Champions of the Principality of the Summits are:i. Defender of the Summits (Heavy Champion)ii. Alpine Scholar (Arts and Sciences Champion)iii. Captain of Eagles (Archery Champion)iv. Captain of Cats (Rapier Champion)v. Outrider of the Summits (Equestrian Champion)vi. Bard of the Summits (Bardic Champion)Article III. C. Defender of the Summits – Summits Heavy Champion1) The combatant who is victorious in the Summits Heavy Champion Tournament shall bear thetitle of Defender of the Principality of The Summits.2) The Summits Heavy Champion Tournament will be held in conjunction with June Investiture andshall end with the installation of the new Defender of the Summits.3) Should the Defender of the Summits be unable to fulfill the obligations of the position or isvictorious in a Crown or Coronet List, s/he shall resign the title to the Coronet. The Coronet shallappoint a suitable person to serve as Defender until the next Defender’s List.4) The duties and privileges of the Defender of the Summits shall be:a. Accompany and defend the Coronet.b. Act as Bearer of the Summits’ Sword of State.c. Promote and encourage honour, chivalry, and martial prowess throughout thePrincipality.d. Upon abdication of the Coronet of the Summits, the Defender shall act as Regent asdefined in Article II.J.e. Work with the Principality Earl Marshal to determine the conventions of the HeavyChampion Tournament and to plan, organize and conduct the Defender of the SummitsTournament with the concurrence of the Coronet of The Summits.Article III. D. Alpine Scholar – Summits Arts and Sciences Champion1) The individual who is judged victorious in the Arts and Sciences championship shall bear the titleAlpine Scholar.2) The Arts and Sciences championship will be held the weekend of 11 th Night Winter Investitureand shall end with the installation of the new Arts and Sciences Champion.3) The Arts and Sciences Championship Competition shall be of a kind that promotes a broad rangeof knowledge in two or more areas in the Arts and Sciences rather than expertise in onediscipline.11

The Laws of the Principality of the SummitsJune 20134) Should the Alpine Scholar be unable to fulfill the obligations of the position or is victorious in aCrown or Coronet List, s/he shall resign the title to the Coronet. The Coronet shall appoint asuitable person to serve as Champion until the next Arts and Sciences ChampionshipCompetition.5) The duties and privileges of the Alpine Scholar shall be:a. Promote and encourage Arts and Sciences throughout the Principality.b. Work with the Principality Minister of Arts and Sciences and assist with ARTists’Showcases, classes and teaching opportunities.c. Work with the Principality Minister of Arts and Sciences to determine the rules of theArts and Sciences Championship Competition and to plan, organize and conduct thecompetition with the concurrence of the Coronet of The Summits.Article III. E. Captain of Eagles – Summits Archery Champion1) The individual who is judged victorious in the Principality Archery Championship shall bear thetitle Captain of Eagles.2) The Principality Archery Championship shall take place at Briaroak Bash in the Shire of Briaroakon even numbered AS years and Harvest Tournament in the Shire of Corvaria on odd numberedAS years; and shall end with the installation of the new Archery Champion.3) Should the Captain of Eagles be unable to fulfill the obligations of the position or is victorious ina Crown or Coronet List, s/he shall resign the title to the Coronet. The Coronet shall appoint asuitable person to serve as Champion until the next Principality Archery Championship.4) The duties and privileges of the Captain of Eagles shall be:a. Promote and encourage archery throughout the Principality.b. Work with the Principality Archery Marshal and assist with tournaments, classes andteaching opportunities.c. Work with the Principality Archery Marshal to determine the rules of the PrincipalityArchery Championship Tournament and to plan, organize and conduct thechampionship with the concurrence of the Coronet of The Summits.Article III. F. Captain of Cats – Summits Rapier Champion1) The individual who is judged victorious in the Principality Rapier Championship Tournamentshall bear the title Captain of Cats.2) The Rapier Championship shall take place at 11 th Night Winter Investiture and shall end with theinstallation of the new Rapier Champion.3) Should the Captain of Cats be unable to fulfill the obligations of the position or is victorious in aCrown or Coronet list, s/he shall resign the title to the Coronet. The Coronet shall appoint asuitable person to serve as Champion until the next Principality Rapier Championship.4) The duties of the Captain of Cats shall be:a. Promote and encourage the art and science of rapier combat throughout thePrincipality.b. Work with the Principality Rapier Marshal and assist with tournaments, classes andteaching opportunities.c. Work with the Principality Rapier Marshal to determine the rules of the RapierChampionship Tournament and to plan, organize and conduct the championship withthe concurrence of the Coronet of the Summits.12

Outrider of the Summits – Equestrian Champion1) The individual who is judged victorious in the Principality Equestrian Championship shall bearthe title Outrider of the Summits.2) The Equestrian Championship shall take place at a suitable event between May and August andshall end with the installation of the new Equestrian Champion.3) The Principality Equestrian Championship shall be of a kind that promotes a broad range ofknowledge in various forms of Equestrian Skills.4) Should the Outrider of the Summits be unable to fulfill the obligations of the position or isvictorious in a Crown or Coronet List, s/he shall resign the title to the Coronet. The Coronet shallappoint a suitable person to serve as Champion until the next Principality EquestrianChampionship.5) The duties and privileges of the Outrider of the Summits shall be:a. Promote and encourage the Equestrian Arts and Sciences throughout the Principality.b. Work with the Principality Equestrian Marshal and assist with tournaments, classes andteaching opportunities.c. Work with the Principality Equestrian Marshal to determine the rules of the PrincipalityEquestrian Championship Competition and to plan, organize and conduct thechampionship with the concurrence of the Coronet of the Summits.Article III. H. Bard of the Summits – Bardic Champion1) The individual who is judged victorious in the Principality Bardic Championship shall bear thetitle Bard of the Summits.2) The Bardic Championship shall take place at Fall Coronet and shall end with the installation ofthe new bardic champion.3) The Principality Bardic Championship shall be of a kind that promotes a broad range ofknowledge in the Bardic Arts.4) Should the Bard of the Summits be unable to fulfill the obligations of the position or is victoriousin a Crown or Coronet List, s/he shall resign the title to the Coronet. The Coronet shall choose asuitable person to serve as Champion until the next Principality Bardic Championship.5) The duties and privileges of the Bard of the Summits shall be:a. Promote and encourage the art of Bardic Entertainment throughout the Principality.b. Work with the Principality Minister of Arts and Sciences and assist with classes andteaching opportunities.c. Work with the Principality Minister of Arts and Sciences to determine the rules of thePrincipality Bardic Championship Competition and to plan, organize and conduct thechampionship with the concurrence of the Coronet of the Summits.Article III. I. Officers of State1) All Officers of State of the Principality of the Summits are responsible for carrying-out the lawsand business affairs of the principality.2) The Greater Officers of the Principality of the Summits shall be: Principality Seneschal, BleuGrael Herald, Earl Marshal, Chancellor of the Exchequer, Minister of Arts and Sciences,Chronicler, Chatelaine, Chirurgeon, Gryphon Scribe, and Family Activities Coordinator.3) The Lesser Officers of State in the Principality of the Summits shall be the PrincipalityWebminister.4) All Officers of State shall:a. Be appointed by the existing officer and the Kingdom Officer with the concurrence ofthe Coronet.13

The Laws of the Principality of the SummitsJune 2013b. File Quarterly Reports according to An Tir Kingdom Law, Article III.D.c. Provide copies of all Quarterly Reports to their Kingdom superior, the Coronet, CoronetHeirs and Principality Seneschal.d. Provide copies of all correspondence with Society Officers and the Board of Directors tothe Coronet and Principality Seneschal.e. Attend Curia and Moot at the four Coronet Events and provide a report on the status oftheir office and the status of their branch officers, unless receiving exemption from theCoronet. In such cases, the Principality Seneschal must be notified and the ContingencyDeputy or a designated representative must attend in the officer’s stead and provide areport on the status of their office and branch officers.f. Select and warrant a Contingency Deputy within thirty days of assuming office.i. The role of the Contingency Deputy is to administer the duties of the office ofthe Principality Officer if, for whatever reason, the Principality Officer cannotcontinue in that role.ii. The Contingency Deputy may not be a spouse/partner of the Principality Officer.iii. The Contingency Deputy is not presumed to be the next officer. If theContingency Officer is interested in holding office, they shall apply for theposition just as any other candidate.iv. The Contingency Deputy shall agree to allow personal contact information to bepublished in the official Kingdom and Principality publication of the SCA, Inc.(The Crier and The Echoes) and on official Society website(s) as defined by theBoard of Directors.v. No person shall serve as a Contingency Deputy to more than one office withoutthe written permission of both superior officers and the Principality Seneschal.g. Encourage and assist their subordinate officers in the performance of their requiredduties to ensure the smooth functioning of the Principality.h. Officers shall maintain regular communications with their subordinates.i. Officers shall maintain regular and timely communication, including responding totelephone calls and e-mail communications within seventy-two hours (three days).j. Officers shall appoint deputies and assistants as are necessary to the functioning of theiroffice.k. Follow lawful directions from superiors.i. Directions from superior officers must be in compliance with Society, Kingdomand Principality Law and Policies. No officer shall obey a directive if saiddirective is in conflict with Written and Published Laws and/or an order from theCrown or Coronet.ii. Any directive that constitutes a conflict of Society, Kingdom and/or PrincipalityLaw(s) and/or Policies shall be reported immediately to the Coronet and Crown.l. Have the ability to create rules, regulations, reporting standards and policy relating totheir specific office. Any such rules, regulations, reporting standards and policies aresubject to the approval of and modification by their superior officer, the Crown and/orCoronet of the Summits.m. Officers of State shall be reimbursed for allowable expenses as defined in thePrincipality of the Summits’ Financial Policy. All Expenses are subject to the limits of theofficer’s budget and/or approval of the Financial Committee.14

Be responsible for overseeing and/or running their area of responsibility at Coronet andPrincipality Events or assign an acceptable representative to act in their stead, with theapproval of the Principality Seneschal and concurrence of the Coronet.o. Should an officer need to step-down before the end of their term, the office shall beconsidered open and the Contingency Deputy shall serve as Interim Officer until a newofficer can be chosen.i. If the Contingency Deputy is unable to fulfill the office, the PrincipalitySeneschal shall appoint an Interim Officer with the concurrence of the Coronetand the Kingdom Officer.ii. The new officer shall be chosen by the rules laid out in Article III.I.55) Appointment, Removal and Terms of Office:a. Warrantsi. The Principality Seneschal shall be provided with a Warrant of Appointment toExecutive Office; duly signed by the Kingdom Seneschal and the Coronet.ii. The Principality Exchequer shall be provided with a Warrant of Appointment toFinancial Office, duly signed by the Kingdom Exchequer and the Coronet.iii. All Principality Officers shall be provided with a Warrant of Appointment toOffice; duly signed by the appropriate Kingdom Superior Officer and theCoronet.iv. Branch Officers shall be provided with the appropriate Warrant of Appointmentto Office; duly signed by the appropriate Principality Officer and the Coronet.v. All Principality Officers shall provide a Warrant Roster, at each CoronetInvestiture, for their specific area of over-sight, which lists all ContingencyDeputies, Branch Officers and Branch Contingency Officers. The Warrant Rosteris to be signed by the Principality Officer and the Coronet and forwarded to theappropriate Kingdom Officer.b. A Term of Office is considered to be two years.i. A maximum of two (2) one-year term extensions –or- a second two (2) yearterm of office may be granted with the concurrence of the Kingdom Officer andCoronet.ii. A former officer may apply for their previous position after a minimum of twoyears out-of-office.c. The end-of-term date for an officer shall appear in the Officer Listing in the Echoes andon the Principality Web Site.d. Notification will be published in the “Royal Summons for Officers” in The Crier and TheEchoes three months in advance of the upcoming end-of-term for each PrincipalityOfficer of State position. At such time, the office will be considered “open” andapplications will be accepted.e. Applications for a Principality Office of State position shall be made in writing to theincumbent officer with copies provided to: the Coronet, Coronet Heirs (if applicable),incumbent officer’s Kingdom superior and the Principality Seneschal.f. Applications for a Principality Office of State shall include the following: a Letter ofIntent, SCA Resume and Modern Resume.g. The Coronet and Principality Seneschal shall review a new Principality Officer’sperformance in the office after the first six months and shall report their conclusions tothe appropriate Kingdom Officer.15

All Contingency Deputies serve at the pleasure of their Principality SuperiorOfficer.i. Grounds for dismissal by the Crown, Coronet and/or the officer’s superior shall include,but not be limited to the following:i. The officer has demonstrated a substantial failure to perform the duties of theoffice after having been given notice of the nature of the failed duties andhaving been given a reasonable opportunity to correct said failures.ii. The effectiveness of the officer has been impaired to a substantial degree dueto personal reasons or a breakdown in the officer’s ability to deal with theCrown and/or Coronet, the officer’s superior, the officer’s deputies andsubordinates or the populace with whom the officer must work.iii. The officer has willfully abused the office by using it to hinder or annoy othersor to advance some purpose inconsistent with the trust of that office.iv. The officer has performed the office at an unacceptably low level for anunacceptably long period of time.v. The officer has demonstrated a failure to abide by Society, Kingdom and/orPrincipality Law and Policy.Specific Duties of the Officers of StateJob descriptions are in order of precedence; deputies are listed with the appropriate Superior Officer.6) The Principality Seneschal:a. The Principality Seneschal is the Chief Executive Officer of the Principality and the legalrepresentative of the Society within the Principality.b. The Principality Seneschal shall:i. Pass a background check as required by Society, Kingdom and Principality Policy.ii. Assist the Coronet in matters of Corpora, Kingdom and Principality Law andPolicy.iii. Administer the Branches of the Principality through Branch Seneschals.iv. Receive copies of all reports to the Crown and/or Coronet, generated fromPrincipality Greater and Lesser Offices of State, Baronial Officers and ShireOfficers.v. Hold regularly scheduled meetings of the Curia and Moot at Coronet Events.vi. Be in regular communication with the Crown and Coronet.vii. Be responsible for supervising and have ultimate responsibility for planning andcarrying-out Coronet and Principality Events.viii. Serve as a member of the Principality Financial Committee.ix. Be a signatory on all Principality bank accounts.x. Provide each Coronet Heir and Consort with a current copy of the Laws of theKingdom of An Tir and the Laws of the Principality of the Summits before TheirInvestiture.c. Deputies of the Principality Seneschal:i. The Principality Calendar Deputy1. Maintain the Principality Calendar of Events.16

Ensure that officers of the Principality understand their reportingresponsibilities. This includes their deadlines, format, and who toreport to.2. Arrange for training of individual officers in the policies and proceduresof their office.3. Assist in the arrangement of Bi-annual Administrative Retreats.7) Bleu Grael Herald:a. The Bleu Grael Herald, is the Chief Heraldic Officer of the Principality and the head ofthe Summits College of Heralds.b. The Bleu Grael Herald, shall:i. Act as the Coronet's chief advisor in all heraldic matters.ii. Act as the Voice of the Coronet in coordination with the Royal Herald.iii. Facilitate the timely processing of registration of the arms, devices and badgesof the populace.iv. Advise the Coronet and populace on matters of ceremony and protocol.v. Encourage the practice of heraldry within the Principality.vi. Be responsible for official announcements at Principality events; with theexception of those that must be handled specifically by the PrincipalitySeneschal.c. Deputies of the Bleu Grael Herald:i. OP Herald1. Work with the Kingdom Dexter Gauntlet to maintain the Order ofPrecedence.2. Coordinate with the Court Coordinator to ensure that the AwardsRoster is properly reported to Kingdom Dexter Gauntlet.8) The Earl Marshal:a. The Earl Marshal is the Chief Martial Officer of the Principality.b. The Earl Marshal shall:i. Represent the Coronet in the Coronet's absence, supervising combatants on thefield of honour.ii. Interpret and maintain the martial standards and regulations of the Kingdomand Principality.iii. Facilitate the education of the populace in combat with the aim of encouragingauthentic, safe, honourable and chivalric combat.c. Deputies of the Earl Marshal:i. The Armored Combat Marshal shall:1. Encourage the development of period heavy weapons combat.2. Maintain and enforce the An Tir Book of Combat.3. Ensure equipment and safety standards for period heavy weaponscombat.ii. The Archery Marshal shall:1. Encourage the development of period archery.17

Inspires and carries the confidence of the Captains of the Armies of theSummits4. Effectively lead The Summits’ Army and all of her troops.5. The Warlord’s responsibilities will be:a. Carry the Banner of the Principality of the Summits in times ofwar and peace.b. Create and engage in teaching opportunities for the Armies ofthe Summits.c. Attend, assist and participate in the Kingdom of An Tir Events;the "Art of War" and "An Tir/West War".d. Coordinate with the various War Captains and War Householdswithin The Summits to encourage participation with and tostrengthen the Armies of The Summits.e. Communicate and coordinate with the Principality Earl Marshal.f. To attend and assist the Coronet with general meetings at warcouncils and assist with scenarios and treaties involving theparticipation of the Summits during times of war.6. May serve a second and final two-year term of office contingent upon asuccessful confidence polling of the War Captains of the Summits andwith the concurrence of the Coronet. The confidence polling is simply atool and the Coronet of the Summits shall have the final decision in whowill serve as the Warlord of the Summits.v. The Youth Armoured Combat Officer1. Is the chief organizer and educator of Youth Combat Arts2. Must pass a background check as administered by the KingdomSeneschal’s office.3. Maintain and enforce the An Tir Book of Youth Armored Combat.4. Encourage and promote Youth Combat Arts throughout the Principalityvi. The Minister of the Lists shall:1. Organize and coordinate lists as directed by the Coronet.2. Work in cooperation with the Earl Marshal to maintain fighterauthorization.3. Work in cooperation with the Blue Grael Herald to martial fields.4. Work in cooperation with the Principality Seneschal to verifymembership of combatants and consorts who wish to enter Coronet18

Encourage the research and development of period animal activitiesIncluding equestrian, canine and falconry.2. Maintain and enforce the An Tir Book of Horse.3. Maintain and enforce Society, Kingdom and Principality Policies andRules governing canine and falconry activities.4. Establish and maintain an authorization system for riders andequestrian marshals.9) The Minister of Arts and Sciences:a. The Minister of Arts and Sciences is the Chief Artistic and Scientific Officer of the .Principality.b. The Minister of Arts and Sciences shall:i. Encourage the research and development of historically accurate period artforms, technologies and philosophies.ii. Organize the Principality Arts and Sciences Championship Competition with theassistance of the current Alpine Scholar.iii. Serve on the Principality Regalia Committee.10) The Chancellor of the Exchequer:a. The Chancellor of the Exchequer is the Chief Financial Officer of the Principality.b. The Chancellor of the Exchequer shall:i. Maintain the Principality's financial records.ii. Receive and verify the accuracy of reports from branch exchequers and otherentities.iii. Compile and submit four quarterly reports and a year-end “Doomsday Report”to the Kingdom.iv. Serve as a member of the Financial Committee.v. Be a signatory on all principality bank accounts.vi. Advise the Coronet on matters of finance.vii. Oversee the procedures of Branch Exchequers.viii. Provide counsel to anyone needing advice on financial matters relating to theSociety.ix. Relate and enforce Society, Kingdom and Principality Financial Policy.c. Deputies of the Chancellor of the Exchequer:i. The Principality Chamberlain shall:1. Maintain and inventory the Royal Regalia. The Principality Chamberlain,the Principality Seneschal, the Coronet and the Coronets Heirs at eachInvestiture event shall sign a completed inventory form.2. Maintain a secured storage facility and/or principality trailer for regalia.3. Order and maintain a sufficient supply of medallions and other tokensgiven by the Coronet.19

The Principality Chronicler is the Chief Record Keeper for the Principality and isultimately responsible for all official publications within the Principality.b. The Principality Chronicler shall:i. Maintain and oversee official communication through electronic media, such asweb pages and e-mail.ii. Encourage the publication of the results of research by any subject of theCoronet.iii. Keep the official minutes at Curia and Moot Meetings.iv. Provide a copy of all minutes recorded at Curia and Moot, within seven workingdays of all Coronet Events, to the Coronet, Coronet Heirs (as applicable),Principality Seneschal and Principality Officers for corrections and approvalbefore publishing.v. Provide a copy of all minutes recorded at the Financial Committee, within sevenworking days of all Coronet Events, to the Coronet, Coronet Heirs (as applicable)and Principality Seneschal for corrections and approval before publishing.vi. Distribute approved minutes to the Coronet, Coronet Heirs (as applicable),Principality Seneschal and Principality Officers within fourteen working days ofall Principality Events.vii. Provide a copy of all approved minutes, within twenty working days of allCoronet Events, to the Principality Webminister for publication on the officialSociety website(s) as defined by the Board of Directors.c. Deputies of the Principality Chronicler:i. The Echoes Deputy Editor-In-Chief shall:1. Accept submissions for, compile, collate, publish and distribute thePrincipality newsletter, The Echoes, no less than quarterly, within anacceptable time frame and in accordance with Corpora.2. Publish official announcements of the Coronet.3. Publish changes to Principality Law.ii. The Publications Deputy shall:1. Maintain all official Principality documents both in print and online.Official Principality documents are defined as all documents originatingfrom a Principality Officer in accordance with their office as specified inArticle I.G.2. Coordinate with Principality Officers concerning official Principalitydocuments and revisions to said documents originating from theiroffice.3. Verify compliance to modem laws and Society Governing Documents forall official Principality documents.4. Produce printed editions of all documents as needed and/or required bySociety, Kingdom and Principality Law.5. Keep the Laws of the Principality of the Summits updated as directed bythe Coronet or Principality Seneschal working in conjunction with theCoronet.20

The Laws of the Principality of the SummitsJune 20136. Publish the Laws of the Principality of The Summits bi-annually in a“Special Edition” of The Echoes.12) The Principality Webministera. The Principality Webminister supervises all web-publishing activities of the principality.The webminister is responsible for maintaining a professional and functional web site.b. The Webminister shall:i. Supervise all web-publishing activities of the principality.ii. Be the editor or supervise the editor of the Principality website.iii. Ensure all local branch websites meet the standards set forth by the SocietyWebminister;iv. Provide updates to the Principality Web site within 72 hours of receipt ofrequest from the Coronet and/or the Principality Seneschal.13) The Principality Chirurgeon:a. The Principality Chirurgeon is the Chief First-Aid Officer of the Principality.b. The Principality Chirurgeon shall:i. Administer the chirurgeonate in providing voluntary first-aid at official Societyevents and activities.ii. Develop and maintain procedures for notifying attendees of health and safetyconcerns at Society events.14) The Principality Chatelaine:a. The Principality Chatelaine is the Chief Welcome Officer of the Principality.b. The Principality Chatelaine shall:i. Introduce new and prospective members to appropriate branches and currentmembers.ii. Provide education on the history and customs of the Current Middle Ages,Kingdom and Principality.iii. Encourage active participation and period behavior.iv. Coordinate with Gold Key, a deputy to the Chatelaine, to make period clothingaccessible to new members.v. Represent the Society accurately and favorably.c. Deputies of the Chatelaine:i. Gold Key shall:1. Provide new members and visitors with period clothing to be utilizedduring an event.2. Clean and maintain the period clothing provided at events.15) The Family Activities Coordinator:a. The Family Activities Coordinator is the chief officer in charge of encouragingopportunities for the education, entertainment and participation of families.b. The Family Activities Coordinator shall:i. Pass a background check as required by Society, Kingdom and Principality Policy.ii. Assist branches in developing guidelines and coordinating activities with thefocus specifically to encourage family participation.iii. Serve as an information officer for safety issues affecting families at events.21

Educate families on the aspects of the SCA historical period of study.vi. Educate families on the history and customs of the Society, Kingdom andPrincipality.c. Deputies of the Family Activities Coordinator:i. The Preceptor of Pages shall:1. Pass a background check as required by Society, Kingdom andPrincipality.2. Promote the welfare of all children at Society events.3. Educate children, ages twelve to seventeen, on age-appropriate aspectsof the SCA historical period of study.4. Educate children, ages twelve to seventeen, on the history and customsof the Society, Kingdom and Principality.5. Establish guidelines and coordinate activities for children twelve toseventeen at Principality events.6. Share information on children's activities with interested persons.16) The Gryphon Scribea. The Gryphon Scribe is the Chief Scribe of the principality.b. The Gryphon Scribe shall:i. Serve as the administrative head of the Scribes of the Summits.ii. Maintain the Great Seal of State of the Principality of the Summits; surrenderingthe Great Seal to the Coronet in time of need and upon occasions of State.iii. Maintain and administer the Backlog Scroll and Charter Roster for thePrincipality.iv. Coordinate with the scribes of the Summits to ensure the timely completion ofthe scrolls and charters from the roster.v. Ensure, through coordination with Bleu Grael Herald, the accuracy andsuitability of original scrolls containing registered heraldry.vi. Ensure, in cooperation with the Royal Scribe, that all charters and scrolls for thecurrent reign are completed to the satisfaction of the Coronet.vii. Maintain a supply of impressions of the Great Seal, furnishing these to theCoronet and/or Royal Scribe, as needed.Article IV.REPORTSArticle IV. A. Principality Officer Reporting1) Principality officers shall submit a written Quarterly Report as per Kingdom Law Article III.D. tothe Coronet, the Coronet Heirs (as applicable), Principality Seneschal, Kingdom superior and toany others required by Society, Kingdom and Principality Law and/or Policy.2) The calendar year is divided into the following reporting quarters:a. January, February and March (First Quarter) due May 15thb. April, May, and June (Second Quarter) due August 15th.c. July, August, September (Third Quarter) due November 15th.d. October, November, and December (Fourth Quarter) due February 15th.22

Should a Contingency Deputy not be able to fulfill the duties of a Principality Officer’sposition, the Principality Seneschal shall assume the reporting duties of said office, withthe exception of the Office of the Chancellor of the Exchequer, until a suitable officercan be installed.Article IV. B. Branch Officer Reporting1) Branch officers shall submit a written Quarterly Report as per Kingdom Law Article III.D. to theirPrincipality Superior, the Branch Seneschal and the Baron and Baroness (as applicable) of thebranch.2) The reporting quarters are:a. January, February and March (First Quarter) due May 1st.b. April, May, and June (Second Quarter) due August 1st.c. July, August, September (Third Quarter) due November 1st.d. October, November, and December (Fourth Quarter) due February 1st.3) Branch Officers shall report pursuant to the direction of their Principality Superior, including theuse of required reporting formats and/or forms.4) A Branch Officer shall report with greater reporting frequency, at the direction of theirPrincipality Superior, when a reporting structure has been put into place to ensure the smoothrunning of said office.5) A Branch Office shall report directly to their Kingdom Officer, should there be no PrincipalityOfficer or designated Reporting Officer.6) The Branch Seneschal shall be responsible for submitting Quarterly Reports for all vacant BranchOffices to the relevant Principality Officer(s). The report shall include the Branch Seneschal’scontact information, statement of vacancy, any potential officer candidates and any activitiesrelated to the office.7) The Branch Officer shall submit a Monthly Report to their Branch Seneschal at the BranchMonthly Business Meeting and shall supply a copy to their Principality Superior Officer asrequested or required, including the use of required reporting formats and/or forms.Article IV. C. Failure to report - Consequences1) Failure of a Branch Officer to report to their Principality Superior on two consecutive reportingperiods, or twice in a twelve-month span of time, will result in the suspension of that officer.2) Suspension of a Branch Officer will be in force until reinstatement by the Coronet, PrincipalitySeneschal and their Principality Superior Officer.3) The suspension of a Branch Officer, especially of the critical offices of Seneschal and/orExchequer, can result in that branch passing into abeyance.4) Should a Branch Officer remain in suspension for a full reporting period, that office should, atthe end of that reporting period, be considered vacant.5) Branches in abeyance may, at the discretion of the Coronet and Principality Seneschal, bepassed over as a hosting branch of Principality level events.6) Branches in abeyance or with poor reporting records for any office risk demotion back toIncipient Status at the discretion and advice of the Coronet, Principality Seneschal, KingdomSeneschal, and New Branches Deputy (if applicable).23

Any subject may make recommendations to the Crown and Coronet regarding any levelof award.b. It is the duty of those with administrative responsibilities to bring forward the names ofindividuals deserving of recognition.2) No branch or other entity below Baronial level may bestow awards.a. Shires and other branch entities below Baronial level may give tokens and scrolls ofpraise and recognition.3) The Principality Coronets, with the permission of the Crown, may bestow Award of Arms tosubjects of the Principality of the Summits per Kingdom Law IV.C.a. The names of the Crown shall be incorporated into the text of the scroll or charter.b. The Coronet shall request permission to bestow Awards of Arms at the commencementof each reign.4) The Crown of An Tir grants the Principality Coronets the privilege of offering a Patent of Arms tothose who have attained the rank of Viscounty as outlined in Corpora VIII.A.4.d and per KingdomLaw IV.C.3.c.Article V. B. Creation of AwardsThe Coronet of the Principality of The Summits shall create awards for the recognition of subjects of theprincipality per Kingdom Law Article IV.C.3.b.a. Principality Awards must be ratified by the Laurel Sovereign of Arms.b. The precedence of these awards shall be determined by the Crown of An Tir.Article V. C. Summits Awards – Non Armigerous Awards and HonoursNon-Armigerous Awards do not confer the right to bear arms. Non-Armigerous Awards have no bearingon an individual’s standing in the Order of Precedence.1) Ordo Aerie:a. This is a closed order consisting of all those who held the position of Defender (HighChief) or Lady of the Summits prior to the Crown Principality of the Summits beinggranted full status as the Principality of the Summits.b. Members are entitled to wear a black garter with a grail tippet.2) Order of the Gryphon and Spear:a. Members of the order are those combatants who have placed second in the CoronetLists.b. Members are entitled to wear an argent sword bent into a ring.3) Order of Morgan's Rose (pending registration):a. Members of the order are the consorts of combatants who have placed second in theCoronet Lists.b. Members are entitled to wear an argent rose wrapped around an argent spear.4) Order of the Shield of the Summits:24

The recipient shall bear the Shield of Chivalry and display the favor of the Shield ofChivalry.c. The consort of the recipient shall bear the Baldric of the Shield of Chivalry and carry theMost Honourable List of the names of those combatants and consorts who werepreviously bestowed this great honour.d. A new member of the Order is selected at each Coronet List and the regalia is passed on.5) The Order of the Summits:a. This award is bestowed to honour those who make extraordinary contributions to theprincipality and emulate the ideals and embody the essence of the Principality of theSummits, the Kingdom of An Tir and the Laurel Kingdoms.b. This is a polling order and is given with the recommendation of the current Companionsof the Order.c. The honour shall be bestowed no more than once per Coronet reign and need not begiven every reign.d. The Coronet shall only present this award at a Coronet Level Event.6) Order of the Silver Barberry:a. This award is presented as a sign of appreciation and honour by the Princess to selectgentles who have contributed greatly to the personal care and well being of HerHighness.b. Recipients are entitled to wear the symbol of the Order, an argent spray of barberry.7) Order of the Gryphon’s Paw (pending registration):a. This award is given as a sign of appreciation and honour by the Prince to select gentleswho have contributed greatly to the personal care and well being of His Highness.b. Recipients are entitles to wear a token as created by each Prince.8) Order of the Grail of the Summits:a. This award is bestowed by the Coronet for notable contributions to the Arts andSciences, Service or Martial endeavors.b. Recipients are entitled to wear the symbol of the Order, an argent grail within anannulet on a colored field (vert for Arts and Science, gules for Service, sable for Martial).c. Due to the varied nature of the award, a recipient may receive more than one of thesame or different types of grails.9) Friend of the Summits:a. Given to those who reside outside the borders of the Principality of the Summits andwho make great and note-worthy contributions in support of the Principality.b. Recipients are entitled to wear the Symbol of the Award, an argent grail on an azurefield.10) The Throne’s Favor of the Summitsa. This award is bestowed upon to those good gentles who reside within and without theborders of the Principality of the Summits and who make grand and notablecontributions to the Principality of the Summits and/or the Coronet of the Summits.b. Recipients are entitled to wear a token as created by each Coronet.11) Die Gesellschaft von den Güldenen Sternen (Order of the Golden Stars):a. Bestowed upon children who are deserving of acknowledgement for their contributionsto the Principality of the Summits.12) Order of the Astrolabe of Saint Brendan:25

This award acknowledges those merchants who make outstanding and on-goingcontributions for the enrichment of the Principality of the Summits and/or the Coronetof the Summits.b. Recipeints are entitled to wear the symbol of the Order, (fieldless) a chalice azure, fivebezants in annulo.14) Order of the Wings:a. Accolade bestowed upon an individual who, despite overwhelming odds, pursues anddisplays thoughts, words and deeds that are inspirational to the Coronet and Populaceof the Principality of the Summits. This is a polling order and Companions in this Orderwill offer a candidate for consideration to the Coronet, before an invitation is offered toa new companion. The honour shall be bestowed no more than once per Coronet reignand need not be given every reign. The Coronet shall only present this award atCoronet Events at which the recipient is present. The scroll and token for this Order ismade by fellow Companions.b. Recipients are entitled to wear the symbol of the Order, an argent gryphon’s wing.15) Order of the Gryphon's Talon of the Summits:a. This award is bestowed upon combatants to recognize their extreme fighting prowessand undeterred ferocity on the field of battle.16) Order of the Joy of the Summits:a. Bestowed upon those who, through self-less acts of kindness and service bring joy andhappiness to the presence of the Coronet.17) Order of the Heart of the Summits:a. Offered by the Coronet to those who display outstanding efforts in support of theCoronet during their reign.b. Recipients are entitled to wear the symbol of the Order, a circlet as created for them byeach Coronet.18) Company of the White Gryphon:a. Bestowed by the Coronet upon an individual’s successful completion of a term asDefender of the Summits, either by holding the position until the next Defender’sTournament or by ascending to the throne during their tenure as defender.19) Order of the Jewel of the Summits:a. Designation of Councils and CourtsThe Coronet shall determine and create such subordinate administrative bodies as they deemnecessary. As appropriate, these matters shall be with the concurrence of the Crown of An Tir.Article VI. B. The Council of the Exchequer – Financial Committee1) The Council of the Exchequer is the Financial Committee of the Principality of the Summits andshall consist of the Coronet, the Coronet Heirs (when applicable), the Principality Seneschal andthe Principality Exchequer.2) All requests and proposals for the use of Principality monies for any and all expenses must besubmitted in writing to the Financial Committee. The consent of a majority of the FinancialCommittee is needed to disburse monies; with the exception of (Article III.I.4.p.) pre-approvedofficer budgets.3) The Council of the Exchequer shall create and maintain the Summits Financial Policy.a. The Summits Financial Policy shall:i. Be approved by the Kingdom Chancellor of the Exchequer.ii. Be published annually in official publications of the SCA, Inc. (The Crier and TheEchoes) and on official Society website(s) as defined by the Board of Directors.iii. Have changes announced via the official publications of the SCA, Inc. (The Crierand The Echoes) and on official Society website(s) as defined by the Board ofDirectors.iv. Include designated funds overseen by the principality.4) The Principality of the Summits Financial Policy shall have the force of Principality Law onceapproved and published in official publications of the SCA, Inc. (The Crier and The Echoes) andon official Society website(s) as defined by the Board of Directors.5) Designated Funds overseen by the Principality of the Summits must be included in the FinancialPolicya. Designated Fund balances must be published quarterly in the official publication of theprincipality (The Echoes) and be reported at every Curia and Moot.b. Designated Funds include the Principality Travel Fund and Gryphon Travel Fund.6) The Council of the Exchequer will meet at each Coronet Event. Other meetings may be called asneeded to conduct principality business.7) On-line discussions between members of the Council constitute a meeting, providing allFinancial Committee members are included and a written response, by each member, to the onlinediscussion is documented.8) The Exchequer’s Council and all branches within the Principality shall adhere to all policies asstated within the current Summits Financial Policy.27

All members of the populace mayattend.2) Principality Officers of State and Court, Branch Seneschals and Coronet and Principality EventStewards or a representative, must attend Curia.3) Event Stewards, or a representative, must provide a status report for all Coronet and PrincipalityEvents occurring in the 6 months following the Quarterly Curia Meeting. Written reports fromEvent Stewards shall be given to the Principality Seneschal 72 hours prior to Curia and on amonthly basis as stated in Principality Event Policy.4) All Principality Officers will submit a written report (current Quarterly Report with necessaryupdates), to the Principality Seneschal and Chronicler, seventy-two hours prior to a CoronetEvent, covering the status of their office.5) Curia and Moot may be held as a combined meeting as deemed appropriate by the PrincipalitySeneschal and with the concurrence of the Coronet.Article VI. D. Moot1) Moot shall be the forum for the Principality Officers of State to discuss the status of their office,projects and goals; Branch Seneschals to give reports on the status of their branch and branchevents; Event Stewards to provide reports on the status of Coronet and Principality Events andthe populace to discuss areas of opportunity and provide positive input for the future of theprincipality. All members of the populace may attend.2) Principality Officers of State and Branch Seneschals, or a representative, must attend Moot.3) Event Stewards of Coronet and Principality Events must attend Moot and provide a report onthe status of their specific event.4) Branch Event Stewards, or a representative, are encouraged to provide updates andannouncements for all Branch Events occurring within the principality over the next six months.5) There shall be a Moot at each Coronet Event.6) Curia and Moot may be held as a combined meeting as deemed appropriate by the PrincipalitySeneschal with the concurrence of the Coronet.Signed thisA.S.
