In p'lace of the BOA"1000 Points" scoring, the International(CIW) points scoring will be adopted. This scoring system has been used in thelast two BGA EurQglide contests andachieves a similar result to theBGA "1000Points" syStem. Details will be published inthe 1975 BOA Contest Handbook. Placingscoring remains an option for Regionals, but Nationals and Euroglide will use theCIW points system.2 Relights After Out Landings. For thelast three competition seasons, 'relightshave not been allowed after out landings inNationals and Euroglide competitions, buthave been optional in Regionals. ManyRegionals have preferred to uSe the sameru'le as Nationals. The Flying Committeehas dec,l1ed that for 1975 all BQA RatedRegiona.S will allow relights only from landingsback at the base airfield. It was considered that glider performancein Regionals has increased to alevel that off-field relights, with all theirprobl:ems, are no longer essential to theconduct of UK wmpetitions. This beingso, it is a logkal step to exclude off-fieldrelights be
