From the Passo Val Mora (1934m),the route crosses the border to Italy andleads on to the Lago di S.Giacomo and Lagodi Livigno.LIVIGNO - ST.MORITZ 44 km /1100 hmThe Chaschauna pass is one of the highestobstacles on the Alpine Bike route at 2694mhigh. This is followed by a descent down toOberengadin and on to S-chanf and a rela -xing journey through the «champagne climate»to St.Moritz.ST.MORITZ - BIVIO 37 km / 1100 hmThe stretch along the magnificent Ober -engadiner lakes is pure pleasure. The comfort,however, ends just before the Maloja -pass (1815m) where even the most experiencedcyclists are sure to walking by thetime they reach the Pass da Sett (2310m).BIVIO - THUSIS (SUMMAPRADA)54 km / 1150 hmThe valley stretch from Bivio down to Tie -fen castel and Thusis (720m) offers a chan ceto relax.THUSIS - SAFIEN (THALKIRCH)25 km / 1974 hmThe next climb right after Thusis is the Glas -pass (1816m). The regionknown as «Surselva» is one of the last re -maining areas where Rhaeto-Romance languagesare spoken on a daily basis.
