Offshore 3DDD starting testsOn April 19th, The Dalian Develop Drillship successfully<strong>co</strong>mpleted starting tests for its No. 1 generator set atCOSCO Dalian Shipyard. This marks the project enteringinto its equipment <strong>co</strong>mmissioning stage.FSO “Geudondong” LQ shift onboardSeadrill T-17 keel layingMT Geudondong is a tankerto-FSO<strong>co</strong>nversion project forthe Indonesian owner, PertaminaShipping. The main <strong>co</strong>nversionjobs are the addition of the newliving quarter module, helideckfabrication and E/R <strong>co</strong>nversion.From 10th to 14th of March, theyard finished the shifting of thenew living quarters and helideckfrom a barge onboard the FSOsuccessfully and ac<strong>co</strong>rding toschedule. They weigh about440 tonnes and 155 tonnesrespectively and the capacity ofthe living quarters is 150 persons.Following the installation of theliving quarters onboard, the yardare now <strong>co</strong>ntinuing with thepainting, piping, ceiling, floor,and furniture etc. Also, variousmechanical equipment items arenow being installed ac<strong>co</strong>rding tothe schedule.
