This mission may place constra<strong>in</strong>ts on <strong>the</strong>property which <strong>you</strong> may not normally encounter. We appreciate <strong>you</strong>r understand<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> extra careand occ<strong>as</strong>ional extra cost <strong>in</strong>volved to ensure our properties cont<strong>in</strong>ue to be available <strong>for</strong> publicenjoyment.We <strong>in</strong>clude <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation here to make sure <strong>you</strong> (and <strong>you</strong>r vendors) are fully <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>med about ourparticular policies. We will communicate any changes to <strong>you</strong> and require <strong>you</strong> to follow <strong>the</strong> newor revised guidel<strong>in</strong>es.<strong>Cheekwood</strong> is not available <strong>for</strong> political organization events, fundraisers or high school orcollegiate social events.Event SupervisionEvent Supervisors may be required at <strong>you</strong>r event to represent <strong>Cheekwood</strong> Management, andprovide an on-site liaison between <strong>Cheekwood</strong> and <strong>the</strong> client dur<strong>in</strong>g events. The Supervisor will<strong>in</strong>sure that all orders and arrangements made <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> event are implemented by our staff <strong>as</strong> <strong>the</strong>ywere agreed to by <strong>the</strong> client. The cost <strong>of</strong> Event Supervisors will be <strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>in</strong> <strong>you</strong>r f<strong>in</strong>albill<strong>in</strong>g at a rate <strong>of</strong> $20.00/hrThe Event Supervisor is not <strong>as</strong>signed to <strong>as</strong>sist with event set-up or tear-down; however, <strong>the</strong>ymust be present to supervise dur<strong>in</strong>g all set-up and tear-down activity.Security<strong>Cheekwood</strong> security representatives are provided to <strong>as</strong>sure <strong>the</strong> protection <strong>of</strong> <strong>Cheekwood</strong>’sproperty and collections and are <strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> cost <strong>of</strong> each site rental until 1:00 am<strong>the</strong>y are not available to <strong>as</strong>sist with event set-up or tear-downa <strong>Cheekwood</strong> representative may close an event, or any portion <strong>the</strong>re<strong>of</strong>, at any time if <strong>the</strong>y<strong>as</strong>sess it <strong>as</strong> a threat to <strong>Cheekwood</strong> property or guests or if guidel<strong>in</strong>es are not be<strong>in</strong>g followedsecurity staff have <strong>the</strong> right to <strong>in</strong>spect all items enter<strong>in</strong>g and exit<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> campus, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>gprivate guest itemsshould extra security coverage be required, each extra staff hour will be billed <strong>in</strong> hourly<strong>in</strong>crements at a rate <strong>of</strong> $25
