PRODUCT LITERATUREAQUASCREEN SERIES BThe Complete Range of Inclined Bar ScreensAquatec-Maxcon have one of the mostcomprehensive range of bar screens in theworld.A major feature of our technology includesthe range of inclined bar screens thatprovide a robust and reliable automatedscreening system. Our bar screens can be used for theremoval of gross solids from water, stormwater and sewage streams. Theseconsists of uniformly spaced bar racks withbars at 15-50mm spacing placed in openchannels. Material in the flow caught on thebars is removed by an automaticscreenings removal system.AquaScreen Series B Come in ThreeDesigns, each With Their Own SpecialFeaturesDesign Advantages•Tapered bars with narrow upstreamaperture capture material at the surfaceand reduce risk of material jammingwithin the screen bars•Screen bars are inclined at about 70° tohorizontal to increase effective screeningarea•Resettable overload couplings preventmechanical damage. Electrical indicationof overload is available.•Suitable for channels substantially belowgrade•Raking tynes contact the screen at anangle greater than 90° to lift screeningsfrom the bars

• Machined tynes ensure accurate toothspacing and minimum clearance forhighest possible removal efficiency• A range of compatible screeningsconveyors, presses and turntables isavailable for total handling capacityGeneral Design FeaturesAquaScreen Series B - CTChain and Tyne• Simple low cost design using continuouschains operating in replaceable stainlesssteel guides and carrying a series ofraking combs• Lower sprockets run in either sealedbearings with forced lubrication or waterlubricated Thordon bushes supported bystainless steel shafting• Used on any depth channelAquaScreen Series B - CLClimber• The climber mechanism reduces the riskof jamming and wear•The mechanism utilises a fixed rackengaged by the driving sprocket•All rotating equipment remain abovewater level. This is made possible by theraking trajectory being produced by guidewheels operating in a track above thechannelAquaScreen Series B - BRBack Raked•Accepts any objects of any size withoutjamming•Rake mechanism operates on the downstream side of the screen bars. Anyobject too large is just not removed•Can be totally enclosed making it safe foroperation in public areas•Raking mechanism is otherwise similar tochain and tyne screensApplications• Water treatment inlet screen•Sewage treatment inlet screen• Waste sludge screen• Stormwater screening•Sewer overflow screenThe manufacturer reserves the right to alter performance, specification or design without notice.Ipswich – Head Office Adelaide Sydney Melbourne119 Toongarra RoadIpswich QLD 4305 AUS356 Shepherds Hill RoadBlackwood SA 5051 AUS8 Charles StreetSt Mary’s NSW 2760 AUS10/64 Oakover RoadPreston VIC 3072 AUSTEL: +61(0) 7 3813 7100FAX: +61(0) 7 3813 7199TEL: +61(0) 8 7002 6900FAX: +61(0) 8 7002 6999TEL:+61(0) 2 8603 5200FAX: +61(0) 1 8603 5299TEL: +61(0) 9480 8000FAX: +61(0) 9480 8099EMAIL: enquiries@aquatecmaxcon.com.auWeb: www.aquatecmaxcon.com.au
