With around 2600 employees at 13 locations inEurope, America and Asia we develop and produce heat exchangers for a multitude of applicationareas and branches.AKG North American Operations, Inc. is the production company of the US-AKG-group, with twoproduction sites in Mebane, North Carolina, and Mitchell, South Dakota.For more information visit: www.akg-group.comTasks and Responsibilities- The SQE is primarily responsible for the quality of all purchased components and servicesand executing company strategy for the quality of purchased materials in support of companyoperational goals- Facilitates or leads, as needed, product/production corrective action investigation- Maintains all material and delivery specifications and coordinates changes with HQ- Qualify and release new purchase parts (new part or new vendor) incl. first article inspectionand PPAP – Production Part Approval Process- Leads Supplier Non-conformance tracking and corrective action review, approval andsubmission to warranty as needed- Tracks PPM levels for vendors and reports results back to vendors (Scorecards)- Leads the Supplier Performance portion of the regularly scheduled Quality Meetings- Maintain QA documentation on suppliers per AKG guidelines. Current Job OpeningJob Qualifications and Requirement- Two years of on the job experience in quality management or supply chain management- Four year college degree [BS/BA], or Two year college degree plus four years of experiencein inspection or as a technician, or Two years experience as Quality Engineer/QualityTechnician in automotive environment- ISO Internal Auditor Training Certificate or equivalent a plus- Excellent working knowledge of MS-Excel, statistical skills and experience with CAQ systemsa plus- Ability to understand technical drawings including dimensioning and tolerances and technicalspecifications- Ability to travel- Effective listening and communications skills- Ability and willingness to hold suppliers accountable for their quality and accomplish AKG’squality goals even in adverse situations- Ability to keep all information processed strictly confidential- Limited travel may be requiredPlace of Employment- Mebane, North CarolinaStarting Date- As availableApplications to:AKG North America, Inc.Head of Human Resources7315 Oakwood Street Extension, P.
