Icing CapabilitiesFedco offers a complete range of icing equipment andsystems for enhancing a wide variety of bakery products,such as cakes, cupcakes, snack cakes, brownies, toasterpastries, donuts, cookies and more.In addition to offering unit machines designed for icingspecific product types, we also offer complete icing systems that caninclude continuous mixers/aerators, slurry mixers, holding tanks,transfer conveyors, cooling tunnels, as wellas integrated system control packages.Fedco’s icing capabilities are the most comprehensivein the industry and will enable you to produce superiorproducts, with added value, efficiently and cost-effectively.Strip IcersFedco Strip Icers deposit icing onto tops of cakes travelingon a conveyor in either a square or rectangular pattern.Icing can be applied continuously or in an intermittentmode. Finish of surface icing on cake can be either flator combed.String IcersFedco String Icers apply tempered icing in either apattern or curtain to Danish, cakes, cupcakes, cookiesor other bakery products. String patterns can be variedby altering speed of oscillating head. Icing is heatedand maintained with thermostatically controlled water.Manifold IcersFedco Manifold Icers can deposit icing in drops, strips of various lengths and widths,and sheets directly onto cakes traveling on a conveyor. Product is delivered directlyfrom a Continuous Mixer or positive displacement pump.


Cupcake IcersFedco Cupcake Icers automatically apply icing to tops of cupcakestraveling on a conveyor in plastic trays. Various patterns of icing areavailable by changing the speed of nozzle rotation. Different colors oficing can be applied to either separate rows of cupcakes or througha common nozzle.EnroberThe Fedco Enrober applies tempered compound chocolate to tops, sides andbottoms of product, such as snack cakes or donuts traveling on a conveyor.The Enrober can also be used to apply compound chocolate to either the topsor bottoms of the product.
