Admissions 2014-15Stage - III : <strong>All</strong>otment of Seats (Spot Admission)As per the schedule of Spot Admission, the eligible candidates should report in time atthe <strong>Sc</strong>hools of the University with all original certificates and two attested photocopies of all certificates needed to substantiate the claims made in the ApplicationForm <strong>for</strong> admission regarding the eligibility. The seat will be allotted as per the merit list and availability. The dates <strong>for</strong> spot admission to affiliated colleges and University schools are different. The venue of the spot admission <strong>for</strong> different subjects will be concerned <strong>Sc</strong>hools of theUniversity. The candidate who has been allotted the seat is required to remit the complete amountof fees on the date of Spot Admission only. The candidate should submit the admission<strong>for</strong>m along with the original certificates on the date of Spot Admission. Also candidatewill have submit eligibility <strong>for</strong>m within one week. The original certificates will not be returned to any candidate once admitted to acourse at the respective <strong>Sc</strong>hools of the University unless the candidate cancel his/heradmission. <strong>All</strong> original certificates will be verified by the authorities of the concerned<strong>Sc</strong>hools <strong>for</strong> the purpose of eligibility and returned to the candidate in the due courseof time.8

For University <strong>Sc</strong>hools (Admission through spot admission process) :Candidates graduated from <strong>North</strong> <strong>Maharashtra</strong> University - 90%Candidates graduated from other Universities - 10%2. Candidates belonging to VJ/DT, NT1, NT2, NT3, OBC, SBC categories should produce "NonCreamy layer Certificate" issued after 1 st April, 2014 and/or valid upto 31 st March, 2015by Sub Divisional Officer/Deputy Collector of the district in addition to the caste certificate.In case the candidates are not able to produce the Non Creamy layer certificate uptothe time of spot admission such candidates will be treated as OPEN categorycandidates.5. 3% seats out of total sanctioned intake capacity of University <strong>Sc</strong>hools as a whole arereserved <strong>for</strong> physically handicapped candidates. The candidate should attach the certificateand will be allotted to the branches as per merit and choice. (Maximum one to each course).6. 2% seats out of total sanctioned intake capacity of University as a whole are reserved <strong>for</strong>wards of persons serving in Defense and Ex-Servicemen. The candidate should attachthe certificate and will be allotted to the branches as per merit and choice. (Maximum oneto each course).7. If sufficient candidates from <strong>North</strong> <strong>Maharashtra</strong> University area are not available <strong>for</strong>admission <strong>for</strong> various post graduates courses, candidates from other Universities will beconsidered. Similarly if candidates from other Universities are not available <strong>for</strong> admission,the candidates from <strong>North</strong> <strong>Maharashtra</strong> University will be considered <strong>for</strong> admission. Therewill be separate merit list <strong>for</strong> other University students.8. Any change from Government side in terms of reservation policies <strong>for</strong> backward classesbe<strong>for</strong>e the completion of admission procedure will be taken under consideration.9. The University reserves the right to make the necessary changes in any academicprogrammes, admission rules and admission schedule.10. Candidate once admitted through industry sponsored quota will not be allowed to shift togeneral quota under any circumstances.10. Cancellation of Admissiona) No candidate will be allowed to cancel his/her admission without paying complete fees ofthe course <strong>for</strong> which he/she got admitted.b) The candidate cancelling his/her admission within a period of seven days from the date ofhis/her spot admission, deduction to the tune of 10% of total amount of tuition fees in additionto the amount of Rs.500 will be made.c) The candidate cancelling his/her admission within a period of 30 days from the date of his/her spot admission, deduction to the tune of 25% of total amount of tuition fees in additionto the amount of Rs.500 will be made.d) The candidate cancelling his/her admission after 30 days from the date of admission,refund towards any kind of fees will not be made.e )No refund will be made to any candidate admitted through industry sponsored quota.11
