JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title:Job Purpose:SUPERVISORTo deliver swimming lessons and work with the swim coordinatorto further develop and promote Wave Swim Schooland the implementation f new swimming initiatives.To assist in the management of Ringmer Swimming Pool bysupervising and undertaking all functions involved in the runningof the pool including pool duties, staff breaks, water testing, poolplant, cleaning, reception and administration.Based at:Reports to:Responsible for:Hours:Ringmer Swimming PoolCentre Manager and Deputy ManagerLeisure Attendants and any other operational staff on duty28 per week to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.Customer ServiceThe priority of the Supervisor is to provide a friendly and efficient full service to all ofits customers at all times which means adherence to the Wave Leisure CustomerCharter, Corporate and job specific Obsessions:To pro-actively provide information to promote the Centre to the public at all timesand to respond positively to customer enquiries.Swimming TeachingTo deliver swimming lessons to all sections of the community and work with the Swimco-ordinator based at Lewes to further develop and promote Wave Swim Schooland the implementation of new swimming initiatives.To administer all courses, if required, as laid down by the Manager/Deputy Managerand special events eg water safety courses, swimming lesson parties, school galas,swim week.OperationsTo ensure all operational procedures, checklists and work instructions arecarried out to a high standard.
