Highlights WCIT 2010 programOpeningThe opening of WITSA’s 17th WCIT on May 25 will be the first meeting of minds forkeynote speakers, business leaders, politicians, public officials and top academics.The opening in the RAI Auditorium will kickoff the congress.Program elementsEach day of the program will be a combination of plenary sessions with outstandingkeynote speakers and a complete track menu offered during the day. The latestinformation on the program and the keynote speakers will be announced on thewebsite. On the afternoon of May 27 all delegates are invited to the closing ceremonyin the RAI Auditorium.WCIT Pavilion VillagesThe Track Pavilions will offer WCIT 2010 visitors opportunities for corporatenetworking and possibilities to get inspired by showcases in all WCIT 2010 tracks. Inthe Country Pavilions, countries will show their latest developments in IT products,services and applications.Premium eventsAll delegates are invited to the ‘Welcome to Holland’ event on the first day of thecongress, on May 25. This event is hosted by the City of Amsterdam. On the secondevening, May 26, VIP delegates are invited to the WCIT 2010 Gala Dinner. This gala ishosted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. During the evening, winners of the WITSAawards will be honored.Crystal Handover CeremonyThe official crystal will be handed over on the final day during the closing ceremony,to the hosting city of the 2012 World Congress on IT: Montreal, Canada.89
