It is suggested that a label for bone meal follow this form:John Doe's Bone Meal2-10-0Guaranteed AnalysisTotal Nitrogen (N)....................... 2.0%Available Phosphate (P 2 O 5 ) ...........10.0%(Total Phosphate (P 2 O 5 ....23.0%)All fertilizer <strong>of</strong>fered for sale, sold or otherwise supplied in Indiana is required to have anaccompanying label statement. Packaged fertilizer must have this statement attached to or otherwisepermanently affixed to the container. Fertilizer distributed in bulk must have the label statementappear upon the delivery ticket or invoice and this statement must accompany the shipment and bepresented to the purchaser at the time <strong>of</strong> delivery.The label statement must furnish the following information:(1) Net Weight(2) Name and address <strong>of</strong> the person registering the fertilizer(3) Brand and grade(4) Guaranteed analysisWater soluble boron contents <strong>of</strong> 0.03% or more require that a warning statement accompanydelivery <strong>of</strong> the fertilizer. This statement shall carry the word WARNING in letters one inch in height.It shall state the crop for which the fertilizer is to be used and also state that the use <strong>of</strong> the fertilizer onany other than those recommended may result in serious injury to the crop.Molybdenum contents <strong>of</strong> 0.001% or more require that a caution statement accompany delivery<strong>of</strong> the fertilizer. This statement shall be conspicuously and prominently located upon the label andshall carry the words CAUTION or WARNING. This statement must caution against the feeding <strong>of</strong>forage grown on soil fertilized with this product. Applications <strong>of</strong> fertilizers containing molybdenum atthis level and above may result in forage crops containing toxic levels <strong>of</strong> molybdenum. Molybdenumpoisoning to animals may result when they are fed this forage.There is no exception made or permitted to the above requirements regardless <strong>of</strong> the mode <strong>of</strong>handling. All bulk fertilizer in storage and ready for sale must be labeled conspicuously with the aboveinformation on the outside <strong>of</strong> the bin or tank by the fertilizer dealer.
