Composition, Story Writing, Extempore, CollageComposition, Spell Bee, both in English & Oriya,kept the contenders busy throughout the day. DePaul School, being the recipient of the highestnumber of awards, was adjudged the ChampionTeam and was felicitated along with other winningmembers of different schools by Shri SurendraNath Mudali, Chairman, NIST. Being present onthe occasion as the Chief Guest, Mr. Mudaliemphasized on the importance of literary skillsand encouraged the student contenders toparticipate in such events and hone their literary flair. Dr. E. Raja Rao, Prof., Dept. of English, Dr. Arun KumarMohapatra, Prof., Dept. of Management Studies graced the occasion as the Guests of Honour and reiteratedtheir views on holding such events in a regular basis. AUTOMATIC ROBOTICS WORKSHOP BY NRC & TECHNOPHILIA, MUMBAINIST Robotics Club (NRC) in association with Technophilia, Mumbai organized a 2-day Workshop onAutonomous Robotics, AUTOBOTZ-AVR on 28 th & 29 th September 2010. The workshop was based uponAVR Microcontroller based Robotics andit covered the areas like, AutonomousRobotics, Embedded C-Programming,and Microcontroller Development BoardDesigning. Around 200 students from B.Tech 3 rd , 5 th & 7 th Sem and MCA 3 rd Semparticipated in the workshop.
