The Highlands SchoolAFTER-SCHOOL CARE2013-14 School YearEnrollment FormRates:For families with one child, the annual after school care fee will be as follows:$2,000.00 due in two installments of $1,000.00 each to be paid on August 5 th & January 5 th or$1,900.00 to be paid in full by 08/05/13 (5% discount off the regular annual rate)For families with multiple children, the per-half-year rates will be as follows prior to calculatingthe 5% discount for full payment by 08/05/13:$1,000.00 First child$ 800.00 Second child$ 500.00 Each additional childPolicy:The After-School care hours of operation are from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday throughFriday, for those days that school is in session.Late fees of $1.00 per minute begin at 6:05 p.m. The minimum penalty is $10.00.Fees due will be turned into the business office and billed directly to the parent.Any child not picked up from dismissal by 3:30 p.m. will be sent directly to after care.Families not registered for the monthly after-school service will be assessed the drop-in rate of$15.00 per hour for one child and $10.00 per hour for each additional child of the same family.Drop-in rates will also be turned into the business office and billed directly to the parent.Late fees as listed above, also apply.Parents are required to sign their child out at a central location daily. This procedure is for thesecurity of the children and in turn will also assist the after-care staff with accurate recordkeeping. Your cooperation with the after-school care director and staff will assist them inproviding a safe, enriching quality environment where the children will be assisted with theirhomework (1 st Grade and up) and enjoy a variety of planned activities.*Early Dismissal Policy*During the 2013-14 school year, there is no After School Care provided onAugust 14, November 26, or May 30Aftercare will be provided during early dismissal due to Semester Exams in December andMay for students enrolled in the Aftercare Program only. No drop-ins will be allowed.
