Incremental Encoders for BLDC motors /Inkrementalgeber für BG-MotorenAs standard, brushless DC motors of the BG range areequipped with Hall sensors for measuring current motorspeed. Where more stringent demands are placed on thequality of regulation and positioning accuracy, the motors areavailable with a digital incremental encoder.Incremental encoders have no sliding contactsand are not subject to wear. A light-emittingdiode, a slotted metal disc, and a photo-diodearray form a photoelectric circuit.An internal logic produces two square-wavesignals phased at 90° to each other fromthe output of the photo-diodes, with orwithout a reference impulse.Where the cable length between theencoder and controller is more than2.5 m, we recommend use of theRE .. TI, fitted with an additional powerbooster. The standard supply voltage forthe incremental encoder is 5 VDC. Asspecials, 24V versions are also available. AnIP54 cover is recommended as protectionagainst external influences. In combination withmotor BG 65, the incremental encoder can be incorporated in theIP65 extruded motor body. For the motor BG 75 an integral magneticresistive incremental encoder is available (ME integrated).Bürstenlose Gleichstrommotoren der Baureihe BG sindstandardmäßig mit Hallsensoren zur Erfassung desDrehzahl-Istwertes ausgestattet.Bei erhöhten Anforderungen an die Regelbarkeit undPositioniergenauigkeit sind die Motoren zusätzlich miteinem digitalen Inkrementalgeber erhältlich.Die Inkrementalgeber arbeiten berührungslos undverschleißfrei. Eine Leuchtdiode, eine metallischeSchlitzscheibe und ein Fotodiodenarray bilden eineLichtschranke. Eine interne Logik erzeugt aus demSignal der Fotodioden zwei um 90° verschobeneRechtecksignale, ohne bzw. mit Referenzimpuls.Bei Kabellängen von mehr als 2,5 m zwischenGeber und Steuerung empfiehlt sich der Einsatzeines RE .. TI, ausgerüstet mit einem zusätzlichenLeistungstreiber. Die Versorgungsspannung derInkrementalgeber beträgt standardmäßig 5 VDC.In Sonderausführungen sind auch 24V-Versionenerhältlich.
