Comenius Society The Comenius Society comprises alumni, friends, parents, corporate leaders, and faculty and staff members who share the conviction that Moravian is defi ning what it means to be a twenty-fi rst century educational institution and carrying Comenius’s ideals forward in a way that merits signifi cant fi nancial support. Stocker* Janice ’82 & Thomas Young Giving 2009-2010 Moravian College Highlights In 2009-2010 gifts and grants to Moravian College totaled $5,032,409. We received support from 2,480 alumni. Gifts to the Moravian Fund totaled $1,079,000. Bequests from alumni and friends accounted for $646,938 of our total gifts this year. Moravian Theological Seminary Highlights A total of $1,081,095 was raised from gifts and grants during the Seminary’s 2009-2010 fund year. Of the total, $372,613 was contributed to the Seminary’s Annual Fund. Bequests from alumni and friends of the Seminary totaled $373,915. The launch of the Seminary’s Mission that Matters campaign took place in May.
