President’s Report (Outgo<strong>in</strong>g)Brad Kuhne, President RCA, 2009-<strong>2010</strong>The AGM was well attended and electionswere held for several positions. The positions ofSecretary and Treasurer rema<strong>in</strong> vacant and anyone <strong>in</strong>terested <strong>in</strong> serv<strong>in</strong>g on the Board <strong>in</strong> theseroles can contact the new President, Lexie Shmyr or myself.Also dur<strong>in</strong>g the AGM, I presented the draft f<strong>in</strong>ancial statementsfor the 2009-<strong>2010</strong> year, the significant accomplishmentsof the year and my suggestions for the association mov<strong>in</strong>g forward.The highlights of future objectives are <strong>in</strong> three areas;1) focus on grow<strong>in</strong>g our profitability and susta<strong>in</strong>ability f<strong>in</strong>anciallythrough the revenues generated by the newsletter, thehall rentals, and the r<strong>in</strong>k rentals,2) encourag<strong>in</strong>g volunteerism by provid<strong>in</strong>g learn<strong>in</strong>g opportunities,personal growth, and recognition, and3) improv<strong>in</strong>g the positive identity of <strong>Ramsay</strong> by <strong>in</strong>stall<strong>in</strong>gphysical updated signage <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g the entrance way features,highlight<strong>in</strong>g positive aspects of <strong>Ramsay</strong> life, and alsoleverag<strong>in</strong>g opportunities to showcase <strong>Ramsay</strong> communityspirit and pride.These objections, I believe, will enhance our community andimprove the quality of life for those who live <strong>in</strong> it.Lastly, as I conclude my term as President I would like tothank everyone who has volunteered their time to the RCA tomake this year a success and a pleasure for me. Thank you alsoto those who offered their support and encouragement andlifted my spirits along the way.
