(EXTRA.), Dec.21, 2009(AGHN 30, 1931 SAKA)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GOVERNMENT OF PUNJABDEPARTMENT OF LABOURNotificationThe 16 th December, 2009.No.S.O.62/C.A.11/1948/S.27/2009 .- With reference to the Government ofPunjab, Department of Labour, Notification No.S.O.29/C.A.11/1948/S.27/2009,dated the Ist July, 2009 and in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 ofthe Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (Central Act XI of 1948), and all other powersenabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make thefollowing amendment in the Schedule appended to the said Act, namely:-AMENDMENTIn the said Schedule, in part-I, after the last existing entry, the followingentry shall be added, namely:-“70. Employment in Government offices or Boards or Corporation orSemi Government undertakings and other Organizations orEstablishments for which the rates were earlier fixed by therespective Deputy Commissioners but not by the AppropriateGovernment under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.”Sd/-P.RAM,Principal Secretary to Government of Punjab,Department of Labour.
