In addition to glacier guiding on thespectacular Bødalsbreen Glacier and in the mountains of Inner Nordfjord, the company has developed anumber of exciting adventure activities in the magnificent landscape in and around the Jostedalsbreen NationalPark. Briksdal Adventure offer glacier walks, glacier safari, RIB rafting, ski touring and Activity Park.A paddling trip in large rubber dinghies on the lake beneath the tongue of the Briksdal Glacier is anunforgettable experience. It brings you within touching distance of the beautiful glacier and the Kjøtabrefossenwaterfall as it cascades down the mountainside by the lake. At the Briksdalsbre Mountain Lodge you will findthe Activity Park with a host of activities for all the family and the Nakkjestova hut that seats 60 persons roundits open fireplace.ActivityGLACIER SAFARI ONTHE LAKE IN FRONTOF BRIKSDALGLACIERGLACIER WALKBØDALSBREENGLACIER WALKBRENNDALSBREENRIB RAFTING ONTHE NORDFJORDSKI TOURINGSKI & SAILDescriptionExperience the Briksdalsbreen Glacier at close quarters on one of our guided trips on the lake to whichthe glacier tongue descends. We paddle in large rubber dinghies between the icebergs floating in thelake; this is as close as you can get to icebergs in Norway. An experience for the whole family (min. ageis 4 years). Min. 10 persons, maximum 80. All the equipment is included in the price. Meeting point bythe souvenirs hop in Briksdal. No spot sale, only groups.Family walk, approx. 5 – 6 hours (3 hours on the glacier). Minimum age: 7 years. Normal/good physicalshape. All equipment included in the price. Good solid shoes are recommended for the crampons, butthese can also be rented at Sande Camping. Bring warm clothes, food and drink. Groups andindividuals. Capacity: 120 persons per departure. Meeting point: Sande Camping in Lodalen every dayat 10.00. Other types of trips on the glacier available on requestApprox. 5 – 6 hours (2-2,5 hours on the glacier). Minimum age: 10 years. Normal/good physical shape.All equipment included in the price. Good solid shoes are recommended for the crampons, but thesecan also be rented at Briksdal Adventure. Bring warm clothes, food and drink. Groups and individuals.Meeting point: The souvenir shop in Briksdal. Other types of trips on the glacier available on request.RIB rafting on the fjord. High-speed trip in a fast RIB boat. All equipment included in the price. Treetrips available: a ‘Wig lift’ trip’ (Tupé løft) of approx. 15-20 min, ’Fjord Cruise’ approx. 1 hour anddaytrip. Groups and individuals. Capacity: 24 persons per departure. Departure from Hotel Alexandraand in Olden. Other types of trips available on request.Briksdal Adventure offers guided summit trips in the mountains around Stryn. Customized programs forgroups.6 pax + captain. 3 cabins, internet onboard, well equipped sailboat with all facilities. Sailing area isNordfjord and Sunnmøre. If you want to sail on your own we require certificate and relevantexperience. If wanted, we can also have a ski guide with us on the trip. The boat is also able to hire thewhole year and can be brought to Ålesund or Bergen if wanted.3
