No.EDN-H(12)B(6)-24/2007-PromotionDirectorate of Higher EducationHimachal Pradesh.Dated: Shimla-171001 the, 05 th July, 2011.“OFFICE ORDER”On the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee thefollowing in-service PETs are hereby promoted as DPE (Diploma Holder in Physical Education)on regular basis in the pay scale of Rs. 10300-34800 Grade Pay 3600 and posted in Govt. Sr. Sec.Schools as shown against their names subject to the conditions that no complaint/inquiry/vigilance case and disciplinary proceedings are pending against the individualconcerned.He/She should report for duty to the concerned Principal within stipulatedperiod.The concerned Principal/Headmaster will relieve the promoted PETs immediately. The salaryof the promoted DPEs for the next month will be drawn from the school of his /her posting. If thepromoted DPE is not willing to avail the promotion though he/she has no right to forgo the promotionin public interest, the concerned Principal will take the option of non availing the promotionfrom the concerned DPE. The copy of the same will be pasted in his/her service book and the othercopies be sent to this Directorate and Dy. Director concerned invariably for further action. ThePromotee DPE will join their new place of posting on or before 19-07-2011 positively failing whichpromotion orders as DPEs shall deemed to be withdrawn automatically for one year or next DPCwhich ever is later. No specific orders with reference to withdrawal of promotion orders will beissued separately. No extension will be available in any case for joining.The financial benefits will be admissible from the date of joining the post ofDPEs. He/She will be entitled TA/DA and joining time as admissible under the Rules. The Principal/Headmaster of the concerned /complex schools with the remarks that theconcerned teacher be relieved after verifying his all academic and service particulars.Beside this an undertaking to the effect that if he/she is found unfit for promotion at laterstage due to any reasons i.e. any change in the seniority /disciplinary proceeding etc.He/she be reverted to the original post of PET and the excess amount paid to him /herwill be recovered in lump-sum may be obtained before relieving and the same be pastedin his/her service book duly countersigned by the concerned DDO. Necessaryintimation to this effect is furnished to this Directorate as well as to the institutionwhere he/she is posted. It will be the sole responsibility of the concernedPrincipal/Headmaster to ensure availability of option not to join / relieving orders within aweek's time after the stipulated period to this Directorate as well as concerned D.D.E.5. Principal of the concerned school is requested to scrutinize the academic/professional andSC/ST certificates of the individual concerned at the time of joining and joining reportbe sent to this Directorate immediately. Incase the concerned promotee does not report forduty in the school with in the stipulated period, the matter may be reported so that next inpanel could be promoted. They will ensure that the instructions issued on the subject arestrictly adhered to in letter and spirit and for any departure, they will be held responsible.
