PROGRAM PRESENTERS PURPOSE<br />
Jeff Eckstein, AIA, ASHE, J.H. Findorff &<br />
Son, Inc., Business Development,<br />
<strong>Healthcare</strong>. Jeff is a registered architect<br />
and has over 25 years experience in<br />
healthcare planning, design, and<br />
construction. He is also co-chair of the<br />
WHEA Code Committee and a past<br />
president of WHEA Chapter I.<br />
Marge McFarlane, PhD, CHSP, HEM,<br />
MEP, CHEP, is an independent safety<br />
consultant with over 38 years of healthcare<br />
experience and 12 years experience with<br />
infection control for construction. She is<br />
currently working with Sacred Heart<br />
Hospital in Eau Claire as well as a number<br />
of healthcare systems nationally. Marge is<br />
a member of ASHE and serves on the<br />
WHEA Code Committee.<br />
Bob Dubiel, CHFM, ASHE, has had 20<br />
years in healthcare. 15 years at Mayo<br />
Health Clinic- Eau Claire, Mayo Health as<br />
Director of <strong>Construction</strong>/ Projects<br />
Services. Bob has been a member of<br />
ASHE for 15 years and is a member of the<br />
WHEA Code Committee.<br />
WHO SHOULD ATTEND<br />
This seminar will be of interest to all<br />
contractors, their construction supervisors,<br />
facility managers and the staff of the<br />
engineering and maintenance<br />
departments. It will focus on healthcare<br />
construction and the operation of its critical<br />
life support systems and provide a<br />
refresher to the various code and<br />
recordkeeping requirements.<br />
The <strong>Healthcare</strong> <strong>Construction</strong> <strong>Certificate</strong> is a one-day<br />
seminar designed for contractors and hospital<br />
construction supervisors to provide knowledge of<br />
issues pertaining to construction in a healthcare<br />
environment. The attendee will receive a certificate of<br />
attendance, hard hat decal, wallet-size proof of<br />
certificate and a binder with a copy of the program<br />
slides for reference. This program satisfies ASHE's<br />
<strong>Healthcare</strong> <strong>Construction</strong> <strong>Certificate</strong> renewal<br />
education requirements (refer to education webpage<br />
on www.ashe.org).<br />

REFUNDS<br />
A non-refundable charge of $50 will be made<br />
for any cancellations made after 10/17/12.<br />
There will be no refunds after the start of<br />
the program. If the program is cancelled for<br />
any reason, refund is limited to the program fee.<br />
