PROGRAM PRESENTERS PURPOSE
Jeff Eckstein, AIA, ASHE, J.H. Findorff &
Son, Inc., Business Development,
Healthcare. Jeff is a registered architect
and has over 25 years experience in
healthcare planning, design, and
construction. He is also co-chair of the
WHEA Code Committee and a past
president of WHEA Chapter I.
Marge McFarlane, PhD, CHSP, HEM,
MEP, CHEP, is an independent safety
consultant with over 38 years of healthcare
experience and 12 years experience with
infection control for construction. She is
currently working with Sacred Heart
Hospital in Eau Claire as well as a number
of healthcare systems nationally. Marge is
a member of ASHE and serves on the
WHEA Code Committee.
Bob Dubiel, CHFM, ASHE, has had 20
years in healthcare. 15 years at Mayo
Health Clinic- Eau Claire, Mayo Health as
Director of Construction/ Projects
Services. Bob has been a member of
ASHE for 15 years and is a member of the
WHEA Code Committee.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This seminar will be of interest to all
contractors, their construction supervisors,
facility managers and the staff of the
engineering and maintenance
departments. It will focus on healthcare
construction and the operation of its critical
life support systems and provide a
refresher to the various code and
recordkeeping requirements.
The Healthcare Construction Certificate is a one-day
seminar designed for contractors and hospital
construction supervisors to provide knowledge of
issues pertaining to construction in a healthcare
environment. The attendee will receive a certificate of
attendance, hard hat decal, wallet-size proof of
certificate and a binder with a copy of the program
slides for reference. This program satisfies ASHE's
Healthcare Construction Certificate renewal
education requirements (refer to education webpage
on www.ashe.org).

you register. If you do not receive this
confirmation/invoice within 1 week of registering,
please contact WHEA’s Administrative
Assistant. This fee covers the cost of the
program, refreshments, lunch and materials. Be
sure to register early, as space is limited.
The registration fee must be paid in full
by the beginning of the program.
REFUNDS
A non-refundable charge of $50 will be made
for any cancellations made after 10/17/12.
There will be no refunds after the start of
the program. If the program is cancelled for
any reason, refund is limited to the program fee.
