Call for AbstractsAbstract Submission• The abstract submission process begins on March 16, <strong>2009</strong>, at9:00 AM (CDT).• All abstracts must be submitted online. Call for Abstracts (continued)Abstract Selection and Presentation• Abstracts are presented at dedicated times (with no otherconflicting or apposing educational activities) on Tuesday,September 22, <strong>2009</strong>, either as 10-minute oral presentationsfrom 8:00 am-10:00 am or as poster presentation from 10:00am-12:00 pm• Electronic versions of the abstracts are viewable throughout theconvention center for the duration of <strong>TCT</strong>• Registration fees for abstract presenters are discounted• Registration fees for fellows presenting abstracts are waived(verification of active fellowship status from the program directoris required)• Abstracts accepted for presentation are published anddistributed at <strong>TCT</strong> in print (published in the American Journal ofCardiology)


Call for CasesPresent your Most Challenging Case at <strong>TCT</strong> <strong>2009</strong>• Physicians from the United States and around the world areinvited to submit their most challenging coronary intervention,endovascular intervention, and structural heart disease cases.• We are looking for interesting clinical situations, uniqueanatomical obstacles, device-specific challenges, managementof complications, etc.Selection Details• All cases are reviewed by the <strong>TCT</strong> course directors and codirectors.• The most interesting cases will be selected for presentation atthe <strong>TCT</strong> <strong>2009</strong> scientific sessions.• Physicians whose cases are chosen become Clinical Facultyand their <strong>TCT</strong> registration fee is waived.Submission Deadline: June 24, <strong>2009</strong>


Case Submission Criteria & Specifications• A maximum of two cases may be submitted per physician• The case description must be no more than 30 words and typedin an 11-point font• If submitting two cases, complete a separate submission formfor each case. Submission forms can be downloaded atwww.tctconference.com• The submission form must be complete and received on orbefore June 24, <strong>2009</strong> (no exceptions will be made)• Each case must have only one submitting physician• Each case must be submitted on a CD-ROM in either DICOM orPowerPoint format with linked AVI or MPEG video files(PowerPoint with descriptive text on each slide is preferred)• Notification of application status will be sent on or about July 22,<strong>2009</strong>• If you have any questions, please contact Sarah McDaniel atsmcdaniel@crf.org or visit www.tctconference.com.
