GlossaryCall forwarding - ISDN call forwardingWith this ISDN service feature, calls for your ISDN connection can be forwarded worldwideto any other connection. You enter the destination number in your ISDNtelecommunications system and activate the call forwarding in your public exchange. Theexchange then re-routes all calls without the telecommunications system noticing (see calldiversion). With call forwarding on the system connection you always forward the wholeconnection. On a multipoint connection you can divert every phone number (MSN)individually to a respective different destination. Call forwarding is possible in the variationspermanent, when no answer and when busy. The call forwarding feature can only be usedby special agreement with your network provider.Call listThe call list stores external calls with transmitted phone number with phone number anddate/time if the call cannot be answered. On the system telephones and many ISDNtelephones the call list can be called at any time and the subscriber called directly bypushing a key. Any phone number can be dialled by a mouseclick from the call list ofTK-Suite.Call variantThe internal phone numbers of the terminal that are rung in the event of an external callare defined in a call variant. Different call variants can be defined for the day or the nightservice. Call variant 1 (day time service) and call variant 2 (night service) can be switchedover at any time from any telephone.Camp on protection - reject camp onCamp on tones during a telephone call signal that another subscriber is calling. The firstcaller can be held in the line while you ask the second caller what he wants. This means nocalls are missed. Anyone who considers this as a disturbance can switch it off with thecamp on protection. The second caller either gets the busy tone or lands on an answeringmachine for example.Charging shell switchWith the charging shell switch it is possible to switch functions in the telecommunicationssystem by inserting and removing the DECT 30 in and from the charging shell. Theswitching can be done for any subscribers. For example the answering machine can beswitched on or the call variant changed by removing the DECT 30. The functions for thecharging shell switch are set up with the PC using TK-Suite (DECT options).A - 3
