<strong>2012</strong>-<strong>2013</strong> DIRECTORY<strong>NUCA</strong>’s safety department represents member interestson OSHA issues and regulations and works closely with theCommon Ground Alliance on damage prevention best practices.The department holds a Safety Directors Forum (SDF)every fall, which brings together safety professionals fromaround the country for the purpose of networking, gainingvaluable safety and risk management advice from expertspeakers and discussing safety problems and solutions in anopen forum. Between SDF meetings, <strong>NUCA</strong>’s Safety DirectorsInformation Network allows safety directors to stay intouch and share information. <strong>NUCA</strong> also invites members tojoin the Safety Ambassadors Club, which provides fundingfor a wide variety of safety activities, resources and initiatives.National Partners Step UpIn <strong>2012</strong>, <strong>NUCA</strong> launched its National Partners program,enabling Associate member companies to publicly show theirsupport for <strong>NUCA</strong>. Those companies receive <strong>NUCA</strong> members’sincerest thanks and they receive recognition for thissupport all year long.
