The SHAREnetworkSHARE is an international network, working to enhance the‘third cycle’ of arts research and education (i.e. doctoral-levelstudies) in Europe. SHARE is an acronym for ‘Step-Changefor Higher Arts Research and Education’ (a ‘step-change’ beinga major jump forward, a key moment of progress). The networkbrings together a wide array of graduate schools, researchcentres, educators, supervisors, researchers and culturalpractitioners, across all the arts disciplines.Over the period 2010–2013, this network was (co)fundedthrough the ERASMUS Lifelong Learning Programme.Jointly coordinated by the Graduate School of Creative Arts andMedia (GradCAM), the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT)and the European League of Institute of the Arts (ELIA), thefunding bid was comprised of 35 partners from 28 Europeancountries.This publications caps off this three-year period, but ELIAwill continue SHARE network activities, pushing the agendafor artistic research and further developing this researchcommunity, together with global partners and collaborativenetworks for research within the arts.
