IV. Proposed Locations for Future TowersDue to the lack of coverage in a larger geographical area of the central/eastern part ofthe county, it is necessary to plan for the wireless expansion for future growth anddemand.The county will require at some point in the future the provisioning for towers.The locations that are following are not exact locations with specific properties forconstruction, but are locations of communities that could provide a potential site.These locations are known as: Permitted Commercial Tower Development Areas orPCTDA.This study has determined that the existing infrastructure in the western, northern andcentral areas of the county along the Rt. 301, Route 1/I-95 and Route 207 areas haveAdequate towers with open “slots” for co-location of existing towers.It is the eastern and southern parts of the county that will require growth.These PCTDA’s are:PCTDA # 1:Little Page…Latitude: 37-47-45 N & 77-22-59 W with a 250’ Tower.PCTDA #2:Gather……..Latitude: 37-54-59 N & 77-12-45 W with a 250’ TowerPCTDA #3:Jack’s Fork….Latitude 37-59-20 N & 77-7-45 W with a 250’ towerPCTDA #4:Liberty Fork….Latitude 38-2-59 N & 77-9-52 W with a 250’ TowerPCTDA #5Sparta…….Latitude 37-59-30 N & 77-13-45 W with a 250’ TowerAtlantic Technology Consultants, Inc.
