Paula C. PeacockMerlin R. PriorPaula Peacock demonstrates her capabilitiesin several phases of college life. She is a mathmajor from Tiptonville, Tenn. Crowned 1965Homecoming Queen, Paula is a member of AlphaChi and the SA cabinet. The queen of the SubT-16 social club, she represents them as Petit JeanQueen attendant, and is a member of the Ju Go Jusocial club.Talented and capable, Merlin Prior is a man ofsuperior ability. A business administration major,he is the president of Alpha Chi and is a memberof the A Cappella Chorus and Belles and Beaux.The recipient of the Ganus award for scholarship,Merlin is an American Studies student, and amember of the 1965 Marketing Management team.As our SA vice-president Bob Rader is vitally interestedin world affairs. H e debates intercollegiately,is a Young Republican, and is a member ofAmerican Studies. As a history major he has joinedthe Phi Alpha Theta history society and Pi KappaDelta speech society. The Yorktown Indianan isa Galaxy social club member.JoLee Thayer is truly an accomplished musician.A transfer student from York College, she has receivedthe outstanding music student award fortwo years. JoLee is a member of the Belles andBeaux and A Cappella Chorus, and is a favoriteentertainer at banquets and other special occasions.As SA President. Dwayne Van Rheenen has astrong voice in student government. A Bible andspeech major from Oskaloosa, Iowa, he served asco-chairman of the Mission Workshop. The variedactivities in which he participates include CampusPlayers, Timoth y Club and Mohican social club.Dwayne is the beau of the Omega Phi social club.Jim Wilson, history and English major fromSpringfield, Mo., has served as SA treasurer andis presently on the cabinet. H e exhibits skill as acapable and sophisticated writer through hiscolumn in the Bison .
