The court <strong>pro</strong>videsjudges with LiveNote s<strong>of</strong>tware on all judicial <strong>of</strong>ficer PCs. You do not have accessto wireless connections in the courtroom but there should be a 9-pin serial portcable available in each courtroom to allow you to connect your equipment withthe judge’s computer. Government Code §69955<strong>pro</strong>vides that reporting notes are “<strong><strong>of</strong>ficial</strong> records <strong>of</strong> the court,” and must be keptby the reporter in a place designated by the court, or, if ordered by the court,delivered to the clerk.LASC requires you deliver a copy <strong>of</strong> the raw stenographic notes generated byyour machine during reporting to the <strong>Court</strong> Reporter Services Office at theStanley Mosk <strong>Court</strong>house within 48 hours <strong>of</strong> the conclusion <strong>of</strong> the <strong>pro</strong>ceedings<strong>for</strong> which you were contracted. You may do so: (1) in person; (2) by mail; or (3)via e-mail.
