The <strong>Campbell</strong> <strong>County</strong> High School<strong>Academic</strong> <strong>Team</strong>has a rich tradition of excellence and accomplishment in District, Regional, State, and National<strong>Academic</strong> Competition.We invite you to be a part of it!The first <strong>Academic</strong> <strong>Team</strong> at CCHS was organized in 1986 -- the first year of the KAACGovernor’s Cup competitions in Kentucky -- by Coach Barb Juengling. Donn Manker coachedthe math teams that year as part of the competition. In 1994, Paulette Farr Perkins became thehead coach, and in 1997 Donn Manker became the head coach, and is currently in his 16 thyear in that position.1986 was also the year the Northern Kentucky <strong>Academic</strong> League (NKAL) was organized.Most high school teams in Northern Kentucky participate in the league, which helps teamsprepare to compete in the Governor’s Cup competitions in January, February, and March.<strong>Campbell</strong> <strong>County</strong>’s teams have been among the top teams in Northern Kentucky since itsinception.
