Michael Manfrom raised concerns about motorists speeding onCayuga Street, where US-2 traffic has been detoured. Keith Hamel has raked up yard waste nearhis home and would like the City crew to pick up. Melanie Camps introduced herself, as she isrunning for <strong>Iron</strong> County Treasurer. Jim Brennan introduced himself, as he is running for <strong>Iron</strong>County Commissioner.CONSENT AGENDAThe Pending Project List was pulled for discussion. The Rural Development (RD) sewer project is40% complete. The RD water project is almost complete, and GEI Consultants is preparing apunch-list for the contractor. The second phase (resurfacing, new curb, retaining wall, and sidewalk)of Lay Avenue is scheduled to begin the week of <strong>June</strong> 25. Concerns were raised regardingcontractors/subcontractors working in the downtown area, their use of City parking lots, the effecton our local businesses, and street lighting on US-2.
