VP COMMUNICATIONS:Lawrence LinHi everyone. I am excited to have this opportunity to serve you as VP ofCommunications. I have worked extensively on communications related consultingprojects (17 years, mostly healthcare and government sector) – whether it is socialnetworking site creation, status report publication for project management teams,informing / educating stakeholders, and aggregation / distributing key information toaudience of all levels. I have written for several publications, spoken regularly at events,led at church organizations, volunteered at community service events. I recognize thatgood communication encompasses all aspects – good tool (e.g. list serv, socialnetworking, newspaper, public speaking platform, social gatherings), clear and concisemessage, feedback loop, optimistic tone, regular frequency, attractive presentation, etc.I am married, with 3 kids of young age – Aidan (5), Brooke and Bridget (both 3). I spentmost of my adult life in Tucson, attending undergraduate at the University of Arizona. Ialso attended school in Los Angeles, before returning to Tucson to practice law. Myhusband, Ty, and I moved to Baltimore, MD. for four years. We then moved here in2005. Ty and I have two daughters, Elena (8) and Elisa (6). I look forward to workingwith everyone at the new Clovercroft Elementary School.VP PROJECTS:Amy KocianMy husband Chris and I moved to Franklin in January of 2009 from Florida. We havethree children; Reilly in 3 rd grade, Kendal in 2 nd grade and Lucas who is in1st grade. I ama Registered Dietitian with a B.S. in Dietetics from the University of Florida and an M.S.in Nutrition Education from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.Prior to relocating to Tennessee I was a Regional Dietitian and a Consultant Dietitian at anumber of acute care centers and nursing homes in Maryland, New Hampshire andFlorida. Since becoming a full time mom I have thoroughly enjoyed volunteering in mychildren’s classrooms and school. Prior volunteer experiences include room mom, artmom, Family Fun night volunteer, book fair volunteer, Fun Run volunteer and helpingout with centers, science and reading groups in the classroom. I also served on the PTOExecutive Board at Kenrose Elementary as the Assistant Treasurer for the 2010-2011school year. I would love the opportunity to serve on the Clovercroft Elementary SchoolPTO Executive Board as the VP of Projects for the 2011-2012 school year.
