CHABROS, a well known name in wood and veneer supply since its foundation in 1960, in<br />
the Lebanon, has been a pioneer in many aspects due to the relentless eff orts and vision of its<br />
principals, with branches all over the G.C.C., the Levant, North Africa, and Europe. Since 1998,<br />
Chabros International Group’s branch in <strong>Dubai</strong>, also known as the hub of their G.C.C. operations,<br />
which constitutes branches in the UAE, Qatar, KSA, and Oman, has been conveniently located<br />
in one of <strong>Dubai</strong>’s well known industrial areas in Al Qusais, half way between the two Emirates<br />
of <strong>Dubai</strong> and Sharjah. In 2009, and in its quest for geographic expansion, the Group launched a<br />
new branch in the “New <strong>Dubai</strong> Area” in Jebel Ali. The new branch with 30,000m2 of warehouses,<br />
showrooms and lumber yard is to be considered the Head offi ce of the Group encompassing more<br />
than 300 employees, a fl eet of 100 vehicles, and 20 production machineries.<br />
Despite the current diffi cult economic times, in the region and worldwide, that have aff ected well<br />
known names in the industry, and have caused others to cease operations, the Chabros Group is as<br />
relentless as ever in seeking new prospects and opportunities in existing and new markets. During<br />
2009 and in addition to its existing product lines that include: Wood, Wood Veneer (Natural, Dyed<br />
and reconstituted).<br />
Marquetry/Parquetry, Mother of Pearl, Urea Formaldehyde Glue, the group launched a new<br />
product line of wood fl ooring: Solid and Semi-solid, thus diversifying its off erings to better suit<br />
and cater to the needs of the market. A Showroom is being designed especially for this purpose<br />
in the Group’s of new facilities, that have a promising potential to equal those of international and<br />
well-known names in the Wood & Veneer Industry and which the Group considers a tribute to their<br />
hard work and perseverance.
