GameArtBachelor of Science Degree ProgramFor our Game Art Bachelor’s Degree, we’ve taken the fine artelements of our existing Computer Animation Degree andapplied them to the specific environments required of videogames. This program addresses the constant innovation of3D graphics and design and the unlimited potential that theybring to the latest games, providing students a thorougheducation in the creation of complex and realistic game art.EducationMedia Design& TechnologyMaster of Science Degree ProgramA recent addition to Full Sail’s online programs is the EducationMedia Design & Technology Master’s Degree. FULL FULL SAIL SAIL UNIVERSITYfullsail.eduCampusEXPANSIONThe past year has seen a number of significant additions to Full SailUniversity’s campus, and we’re excited to offer students these newcreative spaces. “The constant updating and upgrading of our campusis one of the major foundations of our school,” explains Isis Jones, FullSail’s Chief Information Officer. “In order to continue to provide thebest possible education, we’ve got to make sure that students learn onthe most relevant and current technology in the industry.”Two new facilities were introduced this past year to complement some ofthe latest degree programs at Full Sail. The Web Design & DevelopmentBuilding offers students a dedicated creative environment, includingintegrated classrooms and labs that have been designed to incorporateour Apple Launchbox program. Students in this building are able to usetheir MacBook Pro and our campus-wide Wi-Fi connection to participatein class discussions and projects. The building also offers plenty ofopen space to work on projects, as well as network with classmatesand meet with instructors in two student lounges.Digital Arts & Design GalleryWeb Design & Development BuildingConstruction also recently finished on our Digital Arts & Design Gallery.This area features multiple computer stations, isolated sound domes,and a traditional art wall where students can submit their latestmultimedia projects – giving them life beyond the classroom.“The gallery is special because it highlights student projects in bothdigital and physical formats,” Jones offers. “With all our new facilitiesand equipment, it’s great to be able to really focus on the projects andartwork the students are producing in them.”NEWFacilities1. Film CenterThe introduction of the Film Center has given students anotherdegree-specific environment to exercise their creativity. This facilityis an industry-quality motion picture production center, giving studentsall the tools needed to turn scripts into feature films. The buildinghouses workshops for constructing sets, as well as a complete arrayof lighting and grip equipment for Hollywood-style productions.“Environments like the Film Center come from our goal of providingthat real world experience in the types of studios and soundstagesthat students are going to see once they graduate and get out intothe professional world,” explains Jones.The Film department has also seen its postproduction facilitiesexpand, with new Avid Media Composer stations and a new Final Cutlab, which features 42 individual stations running the latest versionof Apple’s Final Cut Pro.
