distances. This high-quality fiber optic patch cable is specifically designed for gigabit<br />
ethernet applications. The LSZH jacket is composed from materials that lessen the<br />
smoke and halogen emissions when the cable is exposed to extreme temperatures.<br />
Each cable is 100% optically inspected and tested for insertion loss before you receive<br />
it. A pull-proof jacket design surrounds the popular 9/125 single mode fiber, immune<br />
to electrical interference.<br />

Mode Conditioning Fiber Patch <strong>Cables</strong> from <strong>Cables</strong> <strong>To</strong> <strong>Go</strong> are used in applications<br />
where new high-speed Gigabit 1000BASE-LX routers and switches are being<br />
deployed into existing multimode plants. Launching a single-mode laser into the center<br />
of a multimode fiber can cause multiple signals to be generated, which confuse the<br />
receiver at the other end of the fiber. These multiple signals, caused by Differential<br />
Mode Delay (DMD) effect, severely limit the cable distance lengths for operating<br />
Gigabit Ethernet. A mode conditioning patch cable eliminates these multiple signals by<br />
allowing the single-mode launch to be offset away from the center of a multimode fiber.<br />
