User manual <strong>watt</strong>- & <strong>energimeter</strong> 4075.5519.01.11 AC <strong>4075.50</strong>Description of the instrumentThis instrument will measure a range of electricalquantities, including power and energy within avery large measuring range with a high degree ofaccuracy.The instrument connects to low voltages using 4 mmsafety connectors on the front, and to mains powerby means of mains connectors on the back.The instrument measures the following electricalquantities:VAVoltage (true RMS value) U effCurrent (true RMS value) l effVA Apparent power U eff · l effWPhase of the currentTrue power (true RMS-værdi) P = U eff·l eff·cos(ϕ)WsWhHzEnergy consumption (since last Reset) P·tEnergy consumption (since last Reset) P·tFrequency for ACTime Elapsed time (since last Reset)Please note that the two energy ranges (Ws and Wh)are reset independently.The instrument is designed for educational purposes,and is therefore equipped with a clearly visibledisplay with 45 mm high digits. The instrumentis electronically protected against overload, and isequipped with a thermal fuse in connection withmeasurements on mains voltage.Measurement data can be continuously transferredto a computer via a serial interface. Furthermoredata may be logged by the built-in data logger.5®
