He has ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong>eda private practice <strong>in</strong> general psychiatry and psychoanalysis for over thirty years, <strong>in</strong>tegrat<strong>in</strong>g differenttechniques and understand<strong>in</strong>gs along with a primarily psychodynamic orientation. Dr. Kalman’scurrent areas of <strong>in</strong>terest and research <strong>in</strong>volve split-treatment arrangements and the problem of<strong>in</strong>adequate communication between professionals treat<strong>in</strong>g the same <strong>in</strong>dividual.
