Member of the <strong>Commission</strong> —<br />
Mr. David Pataraia<br />
Mr. David Pataraia was born on<br />
October 1st,1971 in Tbilisi.<br />
After graduating the 150th secondary<br />
school of Tbilisi with golden medal in<br />
1988, Mr. David Pataraia continued his<br />
studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State<br />
University, at the faculty of law at first,<br />
and the faculty of international law and<br />
international relations afterwards. In 1993,<br />
Mr. David Pataraia graduated from Tbilisi<br />
State University with the qualification of<br />
lawyer.<br />
In 1992-1993, he studied in Germany<br />
— the University of Nierenberg at first and<br />
the University of Saarland afterwards.<br />
In 1992, Mr. David Pataraia became a member of the State<br />
Council of Georgia.<br />
Since 1997 till present, he works at the faculty of international<br />
law and international relations at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State<br />
University as a teacher at first, and since 2004 — as assistant professor.<br />
He gives lectures and carries out course of seminars —<br />
«International Law».<br />
Since 1997 till May 2000, he worked as political reviewer of the<br />
radio «Tavisufleba». At the same time, he carried out advocatory<br />
practice since 1996.<br />
On 11th June 2000, Mr. David Pataraia was appointed as member<br />
of the first staff of the <strong>National</strong> <strong>Communications</strong> <strong>Commission</strong>, for<br />
the 2 years term, according to the order N 596 of the President of<br />
Georgia. On 11th June 2002, according to the order N 751 of the<br />
President of Georgia, Mr. David Pataraia was appointed as member<br />
of the <strong>Georgian</strong> <strong>National</strong> <strong>Communications</strong> <strong>Commission</strong> for the second<br />
term, with the term of 6 years.<br />
Since 18th September 2002, Mr. David Pataraia is candidate of<br />
legal sciences.<br />
He is married and has two children.
