PAPULANKUTJA ARTISTSPapulankutja Artists was established in 2001, andafter many years of working through the Women’sCentre and then the community hall, Papulankutjaopened their own Art Studio in 2009.Papulankutja Artists is known for both painters andcarvers and our innovative fibre work. Our themes areabout Country and include the Seven Sisters’ story,Wati Kutjarra, IIlupa and Ngirntaka.Papulankutja Artists strive for everybody to worktogether with a strong heart, and today, women andmen, young people and old people all work at theart centre. Papulankutja Artists has reached out toneighbouring communities and started a regionalart program in 2008.
