Nomination Process for ONESTEP’sExecutive Leadership AwardJudging CriteriaNominees will be evaluated on their demonstrated leadership in one of four nominationcategories:• Innovation – the individual demonstrated boldness by challenging conventional wisdomand setting a new and innovative course for the organization and /or programs and servicesoffered.• Collaboration – the individual successfully generated momentum and partnership frompeers, stakeholders and the community to build and initiative that could not have beenachieved alone.• Results – the individual exemplified excellence in execution and delivered impactful andmeasurable results.• Lifetime achievement – over the course of their career, the individual has gone above andbeyond the call of duty to contribute to the not‐for‐profit community based employmentand training sector in some meaningful way.The nomination categories are equally weighted and no one category is superior or preferred toanother. One Award from one of the four categories will be granted annually at the ONESTEPAGM.Nomination Guidelines• The Nominee must be an Executive (Senior Manager, Director, Executive Director, or BoardMember) of a ONESTEP member agency. The member agency of the Nominee must hold acurrent ONESTEP membership and be in good financial standing.• The individual submitting the nomination application must be in a position to attest to theleadership ability of the Nominee.• An individual may self‐nominate.• Nominations may be made by members and non‐members of ONESTEP.• Nominations of previously nominated candidates are accepted.• To be considered for the Award, nominated candidates must be willing to be publicallyrecognized for their achievements (including having a written article and a photographcirculated both in print and electronically) and be available to accept the Award at theONESTEP AGM.Submission Process• Submissions must include a nomination form and supporting documentation.• Submissions must be received by the deadline of Wednesday, Sept 9, 2009.• Submissions must be received electronically in word or pdf format.2
