THE MINISTER OF HEALTHOF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIATHE MINISTER OF HEAOF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONTHE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF HEALTHOF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIANUMBER: 239/MENKES/SK/III/2008REGARDINGE ESTABLISHMENT OF NATIONAL COMMITTEE ON REVISIONOF THE NATIONAL LIST OF ESSENTIAL MEDICINES 2008HE MINISTER OF HEALTH OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA: a. in order to enhance the quality of health services, the availability of agood quality, safe, effective and sufficient quantity of essentialmedicines is the responsibility of the government as authorized inthe National Medicines Policy;b. as according to the point (a) above, it is necessary to support theimplementation of rational use of medicines;c. as according to the progress of the medical sciences and healthtechnology, disease pattern, health program and the improvementof public health status as a result of the currently healthdevelopment, it is therefore, the National list of Essential Medicinesshould be revised;d. in order to revise the National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM), itis necessary to establish The National Committee On Revision ofthe National List of Essential Medicines 2008 by Ministerial decree.: 1. Government Regulation No. 38 year 2007 regarding Division ofMunicipality/District Administrative (State of the Republic ofIndonesian Paper year 2007 No. 82);4. The MembersThe Members are responsible to provide input needed forevaluation of NLEM 2005 and to analyze the proposed medicines tobe added to or deleted from NLEM 2008.IDr.f. The Organizing CommitteeThe Organizing Committee are responsible in recording,documentation and supplying the data, preparing the proceduresand guidelines, and preparing the recommended draft of NLEM2008, arranging the technical meetings and plenary session,preparing the draft documentations, and finalizing NLEM 2008 andits dissemination.: The Revision of NLEM should be conducted during 2008;: On implementing the duties of The National Committee of Revision ofNLEM are responsible to the Ministry of Health vide Directorate Generalof Pharmaceutical Services and Medical Devices; and report theactivities at least 1 (one) month after the termination of their task.Circulation to:1.
